Remember yesterday when avni was venting to neela that first neil turned out to be riya's fiance and would be son-in-law of mehta's and then he turned out to be the really close friend of ali. I'm starting to think this truly isn't all a coincidence.

If neil really is the kid doctor akash who became friends with avni and ali before the leap, i think as per the neil taking revenge from daya for avni's death theory, neil intentionally forged relationships/ got close to people avni knew.

Ever since the revelation from the spoiler, this has just made the story and neil's character graph so much more intriguing and interesting that it is forcing me to tear apart every scene that has happened since the leap to understand whether my suspicions for neil are true.

I truly believe that ananya was right when she said why are all these coincidences happening with neil being ali's friend and riya's fiance; the latter by choice, as weirdly, despite not having gotten over this 'dead' girlfriend of his, he is willingly marrying riya despite his mother comforting him that she is with him on his decision whether he wants to marry riya or not when she was asking him if he is sure he isn't just marrying riya for the sake of his mother, and he is adamant on not letting the alliance be broken. It's not like he's in love with riya, so why is he so determined to convince his mother each time when it comes to the marriage alliance with mehta's? I smell something fishy in all of this 😕

Well you guys have placed a lot of theories and lets arrange them all to form a proper conclusion.

If Neil=Akash then,

1.Akash had helped Avni for a brief period and maybe he had developed admiration and respect for her.Maybe he wanted to know her more.

2.As Sammy said,he was there on the spot where Avni had fallen to her supposed death.So it might be possible that he was present there and he had witnessed Daya killing Avni.I don't know how thats gonna happen but it's TV world where anything is possible.

3.That left a trauma on his mind that he was unable to save her.It had an everlasting effect on his mind.Neither DD nor his parents have ever used the word 'girlfriend'.It has only been mentioned that he loved someone dearly and she died.So it's possible that it was not a relationship formed during adolescence or adulthood.It can also be a bond formed in childhood.

4.Maybe that empathy and attachment which Akash had for Avni had culminated into deep feelings as he grew up.

5.Neil is an extremely intelligent man.He has carefully concealed his feelings from the rest of the world.Remember when Ali was trying to tell him about Daya and the Mehtas,he shrugged him off.That was a bit fishy.Because a man like Neil wouldn't get married just for the sake of it.It's possible that he knows everything and is planning something big against the Mehtas to get justice for Avni.For this he needs to marry Rhea.And that's why he is interested in Ananya because she is trying to hamper his plans.

6.Regarding why he left homeopathy and joined the police force then maybe joining the police force would have given him authority and power to investigate further.

Nothing is certain here.It's all about Ifs and Maybe.😆

As Avni said there is something fishy about Neil.That guy literally turns out to be everywhere.

1.He is Rhea's fiancee

2.He is Ali's friend

3.He was there at the spot where Daya shot Avni.

What's the common link between all these things?? Avni.Neil is present at places which are related to Avni.He is familiar with people who knew Avni.

There are high possibilities that he is planning something.

Neil is the missing piece of the puzzle.If he turns out to be Akash then it would explain everything.

When Ali was telling Neil about the Mehtas,Neil told him that he knows everything.Well I guess he was telling the truth.He knows everything about Avni's history.

He is really good at concealing his feelings.We have only seen him getting misty eyed when someone talks about love.

Maybe Neil had a plan ready.But what nobody expected was the fact that Avni is alive which changes the dynamics of the story.

Neil is the most mysterious character of the series.There was always something more to him.Usually in TV series,someone whom the protagonist knows in childhood or is connected to becomes their love interest.Before the leap I used to think that Avni's love interest will be Ali.But then Akash came into the picture and post leap a completely new character Neil emerged.It was surprising for sure but Neil turning out to be Akash explains a lot of things.

Great post and comments. I was thinking the same thing.

I am 110 percent sure that Neil is Akash. Akashi saw Avni struggles, pain and as winner. He saw Avni when she lost her mother and saw Avni when she send Daya to jail successful. He was with her throughout. He respected and admired her from within. He was never vocal about his feelings even in childhood but his eyes spoke a lot.

I am sure Neil got into police force to get justice for Avni. Its very unlikely that he would ignore whatever happened with Avni despite being a responsible police inspector. He wants to get justice for Avni and he chose a very smart way.

He feels attracted to Ananya because she reminds him of Avni (somewhat).

Even i think the same a police man will not marry a girl without knowing her and family background. As we all know Neil is a very intelligent and curious police man. His observations are mind blowing ☺️

but why he just denied easily when Ali talk about Mehta's real truth by saying he knows everything and it was just fake news. Why he was not curious to know the truth why doesn't he investigate??🤓 And then Neil is probably Akash.. 🥳He's just faking everything to take revenge from Dayaventi Mehta(whateva her name is 😆) and maybe that's why he's attracted to Ananya 😳because he thinks she has a same motive as he has etc etc...Omg this will be thrilling and amazing... Upcoming episodes will be jhakasss boss 😎

Great post and comments. And yes even I think that neil's full name is neil akaash khurana. Neil ( water) akaash (sky). It does make sense for neil's mom to keep a name like this for her tillu which have a lot of meaning. Loving the new mysterious touch added to the serial.
