More disclosure on neil's past...Discuss!

So apparently neil had a girlfriend who died, but there is no disclosure on who she is and how she died. Anybody who watched the show before the leap can they tell me whether there is a possibility he is talking about avni? Then again avni was a kid before the leap, so how can she...I don't understand the logic or necessity of this new dead girlfriend angle of neil's. First off they made neil riya's fiance now he has some dead girlfriend on whom there is no disclosure or hint on, and whose importance in the story doesn't make any sense.

I havent watched before leap (i came here for zain lol)

But yeah she was too young to be a gf tbh.

Honestly i feel like they're doing too much for a show thats just took a leap...a past gf and future fiance for male lead in like the first two weeks is too boring and typical for hindi shows.

They don't need all this new twists (inc. Ali-Avni angle too much love triangle-rectangle), its more of a turn-off ...i'm more interested in Avni's storyline which I hope doesn't get butchered.

Yes they're overwhelming the storyline... it's not necessary if they just have 1 or 2 solid storylines running in parallel. The neela-avni revenge against daya and mehta's, ali's childhood love for avni which will obviously remain one-sided, neil and avni's love story all made up for a good story line post leap but now they are adding far too many angles. Although it is obvious that the neil-riya marriage angle will be very short-lived with avni somehow breaking it off most likely during the engagement, but even then the whole neil, dead girlfriend angle will be in there to interfere with the avni-neil love story. But i already feel as though neil has developed small feelings for avni, which is why he can't stop thinking about her. We'll have to wait for at least two more subsequent scenes of theirs together after their jungle scene to see whether avni really has had some effect on neil.

I really dont think avni is neils dead girlfriend as there was no hint about neil before leap in the show ... if that happens then it will be an amazing dramatic twist ... he will be helping avni without thinking twice to bring down evil Mrs. Mehtaa ( god i love how arsheen says it ... its tooo cute ❤️ )

Neil will eventually help avni sooner or later.

Yes, I also thought Neil is that doctor kid from before the leap, the one who gave Avni that truth potion to make Daya confess to her crime

But that doctor kid's name was Akash, not Neil, so this is a different guy.

It can like that Na k Neil girlfriend death has some involvement of dayavanti mehta & this whole neli Riya game is trap for Mrs mehta set by Neil ? Just guess like makers want to give Neil too a reason to join avni in her mission .

A few reasons why Neil is doing all this

1 Daya had something to do with his girlfriend's death so riya could marry him for money( may be revenge)

2 he's only doing it for his parents and society as he said to his mum , he can't forget the past but will keep riya happy .

he has started his investigate of Avni and Ali will have a helping hand in telling him about Avni past he will then start to help her .

There was only four friends Avni,Ali,Tia and Angle the for a short time the kid thats was a dr and Neil is new entry after 15 years thay had to bring in new blood
