Start of the romance

I feel the whole start of the great romance was hollow, when Ashish fell in love with her eyes. It is so filmy and hard to believe, for me.

Asha seems the kind of person who gets away with appearing deep because she is not very intelligent and has little to say. And for this reason, Asha's love for Ashish seems more reasonable, as he pursued her and supported her and she was probably very sheltered. Does the fact that the relationship lasted so long prove it was love? It is highly unusual to be so romantic and blind to each other's faults after so many years, so possibly the fact that Ashish didn't live with Asha and Avni may be why there is this unusual romantic air between them after 12 years.
