I enjoyed Dayavanti and Asha's scene in Thursday/Friday's episodes. The whole scene - from the instant Asha sees Dayavanti at the door till the latter finally leaves because of Tiku's wordless and earnest request - was superbly enacted by everyone 👏

Daya's seething rage towards and sneering contempt for Asha and her family was so well portrayed by Reema Lagoo. Unlike the 'all style, no substance' vamps of other shows, Daya doesn't contort her face or snarl or widen her eyes till they almost pop out😆 . She doesn't bare fangs and brandish claws. And yet, the effect is such that you feel she has done all of that and more. Fatima Bano is loud and animated as she furiously defends her daughter. Daya's behaviour, on the other hand, is icy and controlled. And because of that, the menace she exudes is more impactful.

Barkha's performance too was wonderful. Asha is terrified upon seeing Dayavanti at her doorstep. She can't stop trembling, and looks completely vulnerable and helpless until her children and mother are attacked. Then she shows a restrained strength and dignity, if only for two seconds. I would have felt some sympathy towards her if they hadn't shown her pestering an already shaky Ashish to go back to his mother earlier in the episode. 🥱

Anyways, kudos to the actors! 👏

Reemaji is a fantabulous actor. Only a veteran of her stature could have enacted the hatred and contempt towards asha without going over the top. She was menacing in the confrontation with asha. Kudos to barkha for enhancing the impact of the scenes by aptly supporting reemaji. This show is amazing.

I liked the fact that though Asha terrified of Daya she took a stand when her mother and her children were targeted by Daya.
The performance of all the actors are excellent...👏

Agree...only a veteran like her could have pulled it off. All the actors in this show are fabulous ⭐️

Yes, it was :) And she took a stand without being aggressive or disrespectful. Great job by Barkha.

She was excellent. The contempt, the twisted mouth, the mocking at Fatima's theatrics, all done just right.
