this debate can go on forever and I don't want to sound mean but two things first

1) Rajat tokas is a great actor but let's not give the nevla track too much credit.

2) Rivanya romance may be cliched but it did garner a fan following and ratings. even Arjun said that we are seeing a lot of romance because audience loves it. love stories on indian television always work as long it is done right, and in this case, it was.

Trp's are always unstable, but naagin is constistently number 1 so I don't think makers are complaining and neither are we worried. most just wanted to know why viewership plunged so much. makers thought the maa kali track will garner more TRP's but it did not. However, the next episodes, which had plenty of romance, intrigue and the original story helped ratings rise.

everyone can agree that naagin is at top form when the focus on the main story line, and not cameos or extra characters.

of course the movie promotion played a part in the viewers drop, first because it does not fit in a show like naagin and plus they were promoting a bakwas movie with flop "stars"

SKR airs only on Sat, and SKR reached in top10 only after leap bt nvr in top 5, only during Sita Swayamvara, the show reached top 5, bt it didn't effect Naagin's viewership at all, this was first tym viewership dropped nd its nt coz of SKR bt movie promotional and adding extra track which was completly misfit and didn't mk any sense..
the irony is people keep wanting our show's downfall nd that's wht keep our show in top position

I agree with you on quite a few things and I see where you are coming from. The only track I watched on Naagin was the Nevla track. And I stopped watching after that. It is pretty obvious I watched it because Rajat was on the show. And I didn't have much problem understanding what was happening without knowing a thing about the story. So clearly the track was out of place. Doesn't mean much to me because I don't follow the show, but for you as someone who follows the show, I think such digressions can be irksome.

Actors play the characters they are required to play for the role. And Rajat did an excellent job. Too bad that his track didn't do anything to carry the story forward.

Why bring such a track, nobody knows and I don't care. Why end the track so fast - well PHs function in quite a haphazard fashion. They rush tracks, elongate tracks as they are so horribly organised (at least that is how I think).

And TRPs change for different reasons. I feel it could be due to TRPs garnered by rival shows. That doesn't take anything away from Naagin. It has managed to hold its ranking and by quite a margin despite the drop for the reasons you listed above.

Even I feel nevla track was not handled well ...it was cameo infact very short cameo n somewhere we were misleaded. ..chalo jo hona tha ho gaya but trp drop depend on number of factors not just with the entry of one character

Whats going in rival show ???...is the first factor n major factor

nevla track was always a cameo..and if we see the TRPS it became 5.3 from 5.9 before rajat tokas entered the show..and the weekhe entered it was the same..just the viewership has dropped.and its really illogical to blame rajat for this viewership drop BECAUSE on 16th jan he was shown only for 7 TO 8 MINS AT THE LAST PART...rest of the epis there was no rajat..and sunday had movie promotions..so i dont find any reason why everyone is blaming him uselessly🥱🥱

NOW IF THE TRP OF 23RD AND 24TH JANUARY DECREASES MORE THEN RAJAT TOKAS AND NEVLA TRACK CAN BE BLAMED BECAUSE THOSE TWO EPIS WERE FOCUSSED ON HIM😉

and we cant miss SKR which became the slot leader of 8pm now as it gained trps..it went straight upto 3.1 from 2.1 so its really illogical to blame rajat tokas and a cameo for this trp damage unless there are any grudges against rajat ofcourse..really fed up to people blaming him for the loss of trps jabki rajat centric episodes ka trp aya bhi nahi🥱

I suggest you please see when did trp and viewership dropped, lets nt blame any actor, bt track, please see did the trp become 5.3 before Nevla and KKHH promotion or was it after Nevla nd KKHH Promotional time

well u better chck the dates mentioned on BAARC sites..or u can ask other forum members..i do not speak without any proof...trp was 5.3 in the 16th 17 january episodes and the viewership had only dropped..not the trp..he entered on 16th jan if u remember... the trp went down to 5.3 the week bfore that week..


i dont think i need to explain here..u can go and check the BAARC site ..dates from whcih trp has been calculated are mentioned there
the week in which trp went down from 5.9 to 5.3 had only 1 episode due to stardust awards..everything is clearly mentioned in the baarc site in details...
THE WEEK NUMBER AND THE DATES UPTO WHICH TRP HAS BEEN CALCULATED IS CLEARLY MENTIONED ON THE BAARC SITE
