Hello! I'm an avid watcher of the show who usually catches up on youtube, hence the late post. I think a lot of interesting things have been revealed so far, and I'd like to make a post on my own theories of what may be happening. Please do comment!
1) Anky is not related to haveli, but Yamini is: First of all was the mali kaka incident and Suri's flashback with the mani, which indicates that these guys were probably servants of the haveli. Also, it would explain why Anky listens to whatever Yamini tells him to do, even if he doesn't like it (as we saw with the engagement being held in the haveli). Maybe she has a huge share of their property/wealth, hence he is forced to listen to her demands. Also, her lavish and traditional style of dressing is reminiscent of haveli style dressing, which is very different from how Anky, the kids and even Shailesh and his wife dress.
2) The man behind the doors: From the eyes shown, I'm guessing it is humshakal of Ritik. However, we are not shown exactly how old the man is. I had two thoughts on this:
A) It is Ritik's nana, Yamini's father whom Anky pretended to kill in order to get the property.
B) It is Ritik's biological father, Yamini's first husband who was the actual king of the palace until Anky "murdered" him. To me, this might make more sense. Firstly, it explains the shehenshah style portrait of Ritik. Secondly, it might explain why Yamini insisted on returning to the haveli for Ritik's engagement. Maybe she wanted to preserve some tradition as Ritik is a prince. Thirdly, according to the book Shivanya was reading, the raja is needed to maintain the mani. Is that why shailesh and anky have kept the man alive for so long?
Also, it might explain the odd equation of Viren in the family. Likely, Viren is Anky's son from a previous marriage and hence he was involved in the stealing of the mani. When Viren went into a coma, Yamini decided to go ahead with Ritik's wedding anyways while Anky protested. This shows that he is unlikely to be Yamini's biological son.
If the man is really Ritik's dad, it would also be confusing as to what extent Yamini is involved in his apparent murder and marrying Anky. It is evident that she loves Anky, hence she might also be involved in this.
Still more questions pop up:
1) what is yamini's role in the murder of the naagin's?
2) i have always wondered if yamini has any relation to the snakes. Could she be an icchadhari naagin who lost her powers when she fell in love with a human?
3) what else have shailesh and anky done?
4) is shivanya truly the naag/in who has been called to avenge the murders of her parents? (According to the book)
5) last of all, what the hell is shesha doing in all of this??
Too many questions, too little answers!!😕😕
