This story will will still remain finite. However the initial plan of 36 may change to 50. My POV is dragging the story too much damages the quality of the episodes and the presentation. Too much drag is a loss of the crispness of the story. Guruma Maa Kaali and now the ichchhadhari nevla are the extra additions to the story so as to increase the duration of the run.
Even the suri death sequence was over dramatized for trp (Kinda that worked in the favour of the makers and show)
