Intention was not to kill Ritik then why she gave poison , Why she did not choose any another option . Sshesha just think about her own , like shivanya she doesn't think that they shouldn't harm innocent. By the way "intekaam " is only Shivanya's then why she tells herself that she should take "intekam" .Shivanya has not any sibling . shhesa told during the attack time of suri that she has to take intekaam . I think Sshesha ki Intekaam Ritik se bhi nahi hai. Every time she attacks on Ritik only to clear her path. I think Sshesha ki intekaam Shivanya se hai, jaise Shivanya Sasural walo ki biswass aur dill jeet ke inkaam le rahe hai, ushi tarha ssesha bhi Shivanya ki dill jeet kaar Shivanya se intekaam lega. That's why she is showing shivanya her help so much,. Just think why sshesha is focusing more on revenge ,In her face I don't find any "hamdard" for Shivanya. She always smiles . Her behave with Shivanya is not like sister .Her behavior is like a friend who secretly dislikes her . I never that She is feeling sad for Shivanya,but she is helping her but why? so I have doubt on her that She is not well wisher of Shivanya .Shesha can't be well wisher of anyone. I think in Kali pooja Shivanya will get Vaardan from Kali Maa for her good thought and good job, sshesha will get punishment for her bad job. At first she is attacked the hawk and now Ritik , and during the killing time of suri she told " bhagwan bhi tujhe nahi bacha payaga" . She thinks herself that she is more power full than god, she is forgetting God day by day and where shivanya thinks she can't do anything without the will of God. D ay by day Sshehsa is making The God angry ,every time god saves shivanya because she is good and that's why attack happens on Shesha . not shivanya . i will reveal soon that Sshesa is the lead enemy of Shivanya.

Its kind of weird to see Sesha doing all the hard work and Shivanya merely giving attendance to the killing.

I too read somewhere sesha will fall for Ritik. But I think that is some baseless rumours from the spoiler sites. Sometimes these sites construe their own ideas and often are nonsense.
