Confusion about characters

I'm enjoying the plot so far and I would definitely say that with every new answer they give us, they bring in a lot of new questions too. For instance the short "mali kaka" segment, along with the flashback of them with the naagmani where Anky has a towel wrapped around his head - only makes it more confusing about their past and also how he came to own the palace😲. Definitely expecting a lot more in the future.

I just had a few questions about the characters. Apologies in advance if these questions have already been answered, but firstly, I'm confused as to of the kids are siblings are who are cousins? Maybe this isn't a very important point now because all of them act like siblings, but I couldn't read the hindi introductions of the characters in epi1 hence I'm not sure.

So far, I believe the drunk sister is Ritik's own sister and the glasses one is their cousin. How about Viren and the younger brother who was dressed as a clown on Ritik's birthday? (I don't remember their names either😕)

My biggest confusion is though: How old are these people??

For starters, I'll put both Shailesh and Anky to be anywhere around 50-60 - which seems like a proper age given that Ritik is around 25 and in the flashback, they looked around 25-30ish themselves.

However, if Viren is Anky's (or his brother's) son, how old is he?? I thought he was somewhat older than Ritik and gang since he's married much earlier, and I think he and Chaya have been married a while - so maybe 30-35? But then how is he present when they killed the Naagrani 20 years ago?? Even if I conservatively put him at the age of 18-20 when they killed the snakes, that still makes him 38-40 right now? He cannot possibly be Anky's son at that age?

To add to that confusion comes in Suri, who definitely cannot be as old as either Anky or Shailesh - but yet he is sitting right there with them with the naagmani.

I've learnt from watching all hindi serials that we can never expect anything from them regarding characters' ages...but from episode 1?? A bit far-fetched, no?😆
