Let me clear this BARC site data confusion..!!
Actually the data published on BARC Website is Urban Rural combination and its represents what 80% Indians are watching.

While the data which we get from Scrutiny site or other sources is just Urban Data. Hindi Channels have decided to consider Urban ratings only as rural data brings down the overall average .

So in Conclusion

Naagin @2 in Urban+Rural Data
Naagin @1 in Urban Only Market

after your reply...I also somehow digged into this issue😆😆

yes scrutiny data is urban only...only for week 41 they gave rural+urban and urban separately also...from week 42 they again started giving urban data only

and now some other things...these two as far I understood are different by all parameters...the data on barc site is rat'000...now what does rat'000 means:

Number of individuals in 000s of a target audience who viewed an "Event", averaged across minutes. Also known as TVT...I guess it means viewership

formula= rat% x total individuals in the target audience (000s) /100

and what does rating means...I guess it means rat%...definition:

Also known as TRP or TVR. The percentage of a target audience who viewed an "Event", averaged across minutes

formula= Total minutes of an "Event" viewed across all individuals (000s) x 100 / "Event" duration x total individuals in the target audience (000s)

As both have different parameters for calculations... difference are but obvious..

So in terms of TVT, SNS is no.1 while in terms of TVR/TRP, Naagin is no.1...and I guess TVR/TRP is more widely accepted in public domain
