TBH I was kinda let down with the acting of the family members. Three people stood out today for me -- Ada, Arjun, and Mouni. The three were perfect in their acting. Very subtle and good. I found Sudha to be a bit OTT when it came to the whole omens thing. And the father was too hyper. Maybe because I'm used to seeing the father actor as a villain rather than as the good guy? Idk. And the older drunk sister was just a complete let down. She got better as the episode progressed but her initial scenes were so blah, she seemed to be trying to hard. I was excited for Gunjan's comeback because she's always been a good actor but even her character was a little underwhelming. She's obsessed with food? LOL it looked forced.

That said, the production value was pretty good for the first epi. I was really pleasantly surprised by the fireflies scene -- very tastefully shot. And the snake glimpses were alright too.

But like I said earlier, the main 3 actors just killed it tonight. Well done 👏

In regards to the story line, it kinda seems a litle obvs in that Mouni will forgo her revenge after falling in love with Arjun but that Ada will try to continue so maybe some tiff between them? Nonetheless, still very excited!

I agree the family drama went OTT. I only like that glasses wala girl -what was her name? among the whole family and yes. Sudha did go OTT. nevertheless, good for a first episode, VFX were stunning and for me Adaa was the stand out in terms of acting, although I liked Arjun and Mouni as well.

Yeah, I think in terms of the younger generation (the cousins), she was the only stand out. Her acting was believable (although the fact she was supposed to be 17 was not really 😆 I actually thought she was supposed to be like 20 or something because the actress looked that age 😆).

And yeah, I agree about Ada, she definitely was good. I actually didn't expect her to be that good but she surprised me. I really liked the voice-overs (although I'm not quite sure if it was her voice?). A very soothing and seductive tone -- well done there.

yeah she looked older than 17 but that's okay, she acted pretty well. she's the only family member I would like to see more off.

my god, yes - Adaa pulled off that voice, the walk and the expressions like a pro. Aced it⭐️👏

I am tired of weak heroes and heroines so that's the main reason for me to like this show😆

What a start the show was... and Adaa khan she just killed the last part...

this show again made me surprised and happy as some f favs from Ekta team is back..

first of all my Gunjan Di then Sudha maam.

Sudha maam is the best villainous woman i ever seen in tv. her body language... looks... outfitss everything is just enough for the vamp luk -_- :D

coming to the episode...

the starting dream... ewww that snake bite made me jump up... :P

from there i got hooked to the show...

i didnt like tanvi bt she s ok

Rithvik is workholic n doesnt believes in love (poor guy.. his ragu n ketu goin to make him fall in love n suffer :v) and arjun is looking so lean :o

then comes raheja family with rithvik pov n intro... his cool dad... seedhi saadhi maa... bhai bhabi.. behen .. uncle etc..

the mystery starts up with yamini telling abt some incident 20years before to mr raheja. And Mr raheja getting angry and shouting at her saying nt to open or talk abt the hidden secret .

rithvik entry to panchner , everything started to change.. snake bite coming visible on his snake then stranger hit by his car.. introduction of shiv naag temple

from there eveything looked fantasy for me. i doubt on the teared portrait being mr raheja. (as per promo the protrait someone luking like rithvik) ( now i feel a doubt whether yamini n mr raheja parents f rithvik :o)

the drunken sister was a let down. Rithvik chotte bhai n babhi impressed me ^_^

bhabhi is food lover... and elder bhai luks evil n mysterious for me. when angad ask abt palace , i felt viren was lying... abt nt knowing abt palace.. he s giving a luk f evil man

then another suspicious thing i found is

mr mathur, he too gets alerts wen yamini and mr raheja says abt palace or incident.. did that means tanvi n rithvik is prey for wht the elders did or is it some cover up :o

by marrying tanvi to rithvik.. is their any hidden motive for raheja n mathur family which youngsters r clueless :o

coming ti RiVanya... wt i have to say

with her intro itself chemistry physics.. biology whtever was flying and spark on screen is so visible. Shivanya too lukd suspicious as she was making rithvik follow her etc.. (may b my doubt) the firefly seen near the bank f river was sooo cute n romantic

then comes the highlight the hint for the show IchaaDaari NAAGIN

let me say i was awestruck wen adaa was fully shown... wat a graceful royal luk she s having.. So she wants rithvik to die.. i mean revenge taking..

epsd ends with cliff whether rithvik will be saved?

(bt we knw he will b saved 🤣)

in simple words... im so impressed and is hooked to the show with 1 episode. so curious and eager to know story f rithvik and shesha.. as shesha said our story starts again from this time...

The first episode was solid, I have many issues with balaji but I have to agree that they can put up a grand show when they want to. Agree with you that the best part about the show so far are the main three actors but the family members are a bunch of caricatures. For a finite show focusing on mystery and suspense, such a large, overly loud family was not needed and the worst part is none of them are even funny, I ended up muting their scenes.

back to the leads, all three are great but my attention was on Arjun and Mouni. The firefly seen was beautifully shot, didn't expect somthing so visually stunning from a daily soap. Mouni looked beautiful and arjun nailed the smitten look, can't wait to see more of their interactions-they share great chemistry. overall, very satisfied with what I have seen so far but only wondering if it is worth it to invest in this show knowing how ekta's shows are.
