Have the CV's diverted the show from the core concept of Shesh-Naagin hunting down the demons one by one by introducing this betrayal track out of the blue?
Yes the Virus was eliminated today due to the presence of Immortal Nectar in the River. The episode was good and I really liked the way Pratha's character shaped up today.
She was smart sassy and intelligent enough in not only saving the life of her own mate Rishabh and his real mom Chanda but switched the poison with the nectar where Seema the Maha-Asur was tricked into believing that she was finally spreading the virus for her country Chingistaan.
Pratha's character has really grown from being a submissive meek woman into an assertive Independent Naagin complemented by a smart brain. She's not only holding her own ground as the Shesh-Naagin but she's symbolizing the woman of today-traditional family-bound yet willing to cross the line when it comes to saving a woman's honor like in the case of Samaira where finally she got the much needed freedom from her no-good husband Reyhaan.
The Virus might have been eliminated but there are still some 13 demons remaining if the numbers are correct. So why this sudden betrayal track?
Yes I knew that like Shesha and Vish before her Mehak would betray her sibling Pratha someday and Pratha should have kept her eyes open after her own Dad was revealed as one of the Demons.Mehak also has a reason to betray Pratha-the mantle and honour being the Shesh-Naagin with unrivalled powers but why did Rishabh betray Pratha?
Mehak stabbing Pratha in the back was not the surprise but Rishabh romancing his sister-in-law Mehak is the surprise here? Its like Ritik betraying Shivanya for Shesha or Maahir betraying Bela for her sibling Juhi.
When did Mehak and Rishabh fall in love huh? Mehak was attracted to that Inspector right? And is it possible that both Mehak and Rishabh were in the list of that 20 Demons as stated by that Professor?
What if the Professor himself is the final Demon and is keen on eliminating the rest of the Demons for some higher purpose or greater rewards? After all the Demons have no loyalty among themselves right-they would readily kill each other if there's really no alternative except betraying one another if faced with such an unwarranted situation.
Anyway I don't think this present track would do any wonders for this series.Rishabh's character was already damaged and this sudden betrayal makes no sense whatsoever.
Also let's assume for one moment that Rishabh finally turned negative it only means that Rishabh was also one of the 20 demons mentioned by the Professor. After all his foster-mom Seema and his dad Lalit were Demons too.
This also explains as to why Rishabh was never seriously bothered about the threat to his own country. He was not even close to the identity of the Demons so why did Maha-Asur sent a bunch of hoodlums to attack her own son? Also as revealed in the Promo Pratha has been sent to jail why? On some Fake-Crime perhaps.
And if Rishabh and Mehak both were in love with each other then why did Rishabh marry Pratha?Did he marry her to trap her in his fake love story and then steal her Naagin powers so that Mehak can finally become the Shesh-Naagin but why now?
If Mehak wanted the Shesh-Naagin powers then she could have collaborated with Seema like Shesha did with Yamini.Pratha would have been really bind to a corner then.
What's the purpose of Rishabh being an Army-Man then if he's revealed to be one of the demons as shown in the promo? He could have been just like any Big-Shot Tycoon.
