So Nikki and Dhairya (and anyone else who watches!), I started catching up with Kaatelal yesterday* and I'm likely verrrrrrrry far behind you (I realised last night I'd only watched the first week or so, and now there are like 50 eps to catch up on LMAO. I'd forgotten how dailies worked 😆) so I'm probably miles behind on story but just wanted to say:

SUSHEELA AND GARIMA ARE THE BEST I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. Their bonding, the way they look out for their father, the way they're always ready for a fight, lol 😆

Also Susheela and Pramod she just grabbed him by the throat to tell him off and he was least fazed😆 I think he actually liked it (he may not be a supernatural char but in that he reminded me of our Cheelu ❤️).

Also the direction and cinematography on this show is so good! I don't know who produces it but for a show on SAB it is very well made, and the sets really feel lived in. Susheela/Garima's clothes are as well.

Anyway, all this to say in about three years I should...still be lagging very far behind you 🤣

*don't worry Huma, UA is also on my list 😆 will watch asap!

We're talking about Kaatelal & Sons. It's a show that comes on SAB TV and it's a half-hour daily. It's very lighthearted and sweet - two sisters whose dad runs a barber's shop and doesn't want his daughters to work there (he's a bit "old-fashioned" but overall he loves them very much, even if sometimes he annoys me with his thinking). The sisters are basically completely badass, they go around threatening/beating up anyone who mistreats them/their dad. The whole family is a real bunch of characters.

It's a really nice lighthearted show that you can just enjoy and laugh along with. You should check it out if you can!

Edit: plus, I don't know if these actresses have been in anything else but I've never seen them before - but they are so natural and effortless...a real joy to watch.

Edit 2: just checked and one of the actresses was the lead in Krishna Chali London, and the other's been in a bunch of things I don't recognise, but both relatively new.

LOL wait the actors got engaged? Or they got engaged on the show? This is the "2 dino wala true lowe", right?

Apart from N5, I don't watch any other ITV shows right now and I can tell Kaatelal is gonna be the antidote to whatever Mukta dishes out to me 😆 it's breezy and I'm not likely to get heavily invested in fandom etc., so can just enjoy it in a lighthearted way.
