I did feel bad for pallavi and she reacted how a normal human would. Not everyone can be P can they Pallavi loved and hated with all her heart. She tried to put on this evil facade but underneath all of that still she had good in her that won out. That’s why I loved the ending so much.

Kamal was def the best devar, and I loved his relationship with Shruti too (calling her baccha all the time 😳). Love that Kamal was the first one in the family to know Paro was Janki and to help her out. He always had her back.

That family DEFINITELY did not deserve P, esp after Om died. Chaya 😡😡 was the worst, constantly interfering and finding new reasons to hate her. I loved when Kamal once said to her that Paro was the reason her good-for-nothing husband even had a home to call his own. The way she cried 👍🏼

Pallavi was intense, and both Shweta K and Achint pulled out different aspects of and emotions from her. For once I was impressed with both the OG and the replacement actress, otherwise often it doesn't work to replace an actor.

I mean it'll definitely pull in the TRP aunties but we need SharBhi to do more than just cry and light diyas in the show 😆 thodi unki chemistry aur hotness ko bhi istimaal karein toh behtar hoga imagine a best of both worlds scenario where we get the sexy, deep romance and the TRP aunties get their mahaan bahu and aadarsh beta as well 😆

tho I always rolled my eyes at Paro doing the "blood is thicker than water" thing...bc she never believed it herself. She adopted like every stray that came her way 🤣

The minute he saw her he knew who she was and despite her denying it he still protected her. He was flawed but his love for never was such a pure relationship honestly. I loved it. And he loved shruti so much because of the love and respect her had for her parents.

Also when I was watching this I did not Om and Chaya were married in real life I found out after and just found it so so weird

Yeah when I found out they were married IRL I found it so weird that she called him bhaiya on screen 😆 I think they're divorced now tho...sad.

Pallavi was the best antagonist, hands-down, for me. I can't even call her a villain bc there were times I totally understood her POV. You're right, she wasn't OTT or vampy like Komolika or Ramola Sikand...she was classy and understated, but powerful. I still have vague memories of that first scene where she shows her true colours to Paro...Shweta K was amazing there.

LOL I forgot about our blockbuster script 😆 we should apply to be writers on this show...we'd keep the story on track for the first 500 eps 😆 after that they can do what they want 🤣

Ahhhh so good and back then we thought this stuff was OTT, but at least it had emotional resonance. This show, for all that we can crib about it, was ALL about the emotion, and the family.

Also Sakshi carried this show like a boss 😎 it was nothing without her.
