I don't know for sure but I imagine there were lots of fights amongst people who only wanted to watch for Shivika versus those who want OmRu to have parallel tracks (since the show began by promoting itself as the brothers' story) etc. But when Shivika took off, no wonder the show leaned into it.

AniOmRu were the best - the family she never had 😳

@bold- you might not agree with me, but they were the only real family she had ( and shivaay babyyy later on😂) and earlier saumya as well. And no not gauri, because in my eyes she just never could develop that bond with anika. Maybe because they were too similar🤔

Rest every single person in that household used her for something or the other. Even the anika anika japne vali daadi. After the whole shaadi fiasco, i just couldn't see her as someone who loved anika. She sometimes annoyed me more than pinky. Atleast pinky was upfront about her views towards ani baby!!!

I liked the star struck emoji 🤣 you know what I blame that wahiyaat week when I saw that promo and wanted to post it on the forum. Then realised you can’t post videos in post it was either Twitter or Instagram not a hard choice. I credit this forum for my fame 🤣 and colourless’ inability to post promos 🤣

Oh, I 100% agree. Sahil aside, they were the only people who cared for her. Pinky we've discussed, she was always going to be more loyal to Shivaay. Her husband was literally useless and made a half-hearted "you're my daughter" gesture once and then ignored her for the rest of time. Jhanvi and Tej were on their own planet and Dadi...man she was adept at emotional manipulation. Even when Shivaay was being his worst self, she was all "hey, a wife's job is to maintain the relationship not fight on every little thing" sure Kalyani devi, whatever you say. Plus she had the most hilarious "Billu, mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha" expressions on her face at all times 🤣

And yeah, the Gauri thing was random and under-developed. The second the reveal happened, it was like "we've been besties for life". Even if you are real sisters, you've not lived together since childhood, there would naturally be some disconnect, but they never really explored that properly, and the whole thing just felt like they wanted to close off the loop on Anika's childhood.

In fact, and I could be in the minority here, but I would have preferred Anika never find out who her father was (conveniently she'd forgotten everything until one day she went to his house and remembered every last detail 🤔). It felt more natural and gave her story more pathos for her to always be "Sirf Anika" and for that mystery to never be resolved.

Yes. I was bitter about Sumo being gone but wasn't about to put Bhavya down were they to have a nice story. But there was just no rhyme or reason there, I didn't see the conflict there or the love coming about. They starting putting Rudra down, dumbing him to make Bhavya appear the sensible person who brings 'balance' to the Rudy. The opposites attract concept worked well for Shivika, Shivaay and Anika were opposite but still similar - bound with their love for families imo. The partners for Om and Rudra were supposed to be their opposite too.

For Om, I felt Gauri, while not an opposite, still made sense. She was the kind of woman he hated. He assumed she was a mistress who destroyed homes - like Svet destroyed his mom's. His weak point became disloyalty. Their conflict came about from there. With Bhavya ... there was nothing as such. She was a cop who was... fitter than Rudy? Like whut? Bhavya just didn't fit the bill and was being forced there.

Also I wish the track where Anika finds out Gauri is chutki was better done. The buildup to it all deserved a better climax.

AniOmRu were looove! I don't recall a time where they did not support her or did not have her back. Never lost faith in their Anika Bhabi. Om calling her Bhabi I just found that clip again on instagram yesterday only and had a bit of a nostalgic trip. Thankful to insta for these time to time small clips. The Bring Back SSO and the separation gave lots of angsty romance and it (along with the strange baby track) ended up tying really well with the KKK of Shivaay and Pinky's exposure too.

I just didn't get her familial discovery. Shivaay had accepted that anika was sirf anika (we'll get back to the acceptance track and how they messed that up in other comment🤭) anika was happy being sirf anika toh zaroorat hi kya tha ye trivedi's ko laane ki.

Pinky and dadi are still worth discussing man..even jhanvi and tej had some or other thing going on that we could discuss!! But by god, how funny is that there's nothing to speak about pinky's husband ( so useless he was, that I've gone ahead and forgotten his name as well🤣)

He is the exact definition of furniture character!! Had the writers been able to find a valid and plausible reason to make his character go somewhere for a loonngg period of time, I'm sure he would exited the show long time ago!!😂
