Hello! I was once upon a time, a very active member of IF!๐Ÿ˜† Hadn't been here for a very long time. Frankly, nothing interesting dragged me back, till now!

I am not a follower of hindi shows. Just watched, 2-3 here and there! Frankly, there aren't extremely good shows in terms of content made these days, especially on TV, I feel! Last one I followed was Radhakrishna maybe, but even that is totally ruined now!(Again, no offense to any fans here, just my personal opinion!๐Ÿ˜ณ)

Talking about Naagin, I never watched it. No offense, but the name itself made me cringe till now! Maybe, bad judgement from my side, but from the name, I assumed it to be a kinda of, vishkanya sorts show, where female snakes attack humans in human-form!๐Ÿ˜† Though, by hearing big names attached to every season, I use to feel, maybe, audience can like anything these days!smiley36

BUT, I was so WRONG!!! I gave a try to this season! ONLY for 'Sharad Malhotra'!โค๏ธ Have been an ardent follower of his work, since his Maharana Pratap days! So, when I heard he's a part of this show and especially A NEGETIVE ONE!!!!๐ŸฅณI got super excited! But still, that title of the show, kept holding me back๐Ÿ˜›until last week, when I saw sharad and surbhi's extremely sizzling pic on internet somewhere(It was outside police station or something). Damn, I lost it!โ˜บ๏ธโ˜บ๏ธโ˜บ๏ธ I have never heard of surbhi before. But that one picture, really cleared all my inhibitions and I literally binged watched all the episodes in just three days!๐Ÿ˜†

And, what can I say? I could only keep on rewinding veer-bani scenes!!! They are unmatchable! They both look so freaking compatible for each other in appearance! He is tall, dark, chiselledโ˜บ๏ธ and sharp featured; she is dusky, slim and slightly shorter than him! I mean, this is what I call, BANG ON CASTING!โค๏ธ I went all gaga over sharad AGAIN!!!I mean, words would fall short, how can anyone look so FINE?โ˜บ๏ธThe best part about both of them, is they both have perfectly sharp jawlines!!!! I found that very attractive!โค๏ธ

Coming to their respective roles! They are so unique! I initially thought, cheel means eagle!๐Ÿ˜† But its actually 'Black kite'(Though, same bird family I guess). But my my! Describing the couple in one word: 'Passion'! They really are 'ying to the yang'(as a snake is to an eagle๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž)

The story has really got me hooked!!! I love, how the story is unfathomable!๐Ÿ˜ƒ Though, am not very comfortable watching snakes, erupting from windows and bedrooms๐Ÿคฃ I ignore that, only to watch the main plot!๐Ÿ˜† But honestly, I don't want veer's character to be positive! I feel positive characters somewhat becomes boring after a while! I want him to remain grey at least till the end!๐Ÿ˜Ž Though, bani's character is a bit one toned!๐Ÿค“ Why is she only angry?๐Ÿ˜† I have never seen her smile much! Not even with jay! Who is the actor playing Jay btw?๐Ÿค“ He seems familiar to me! But he's too skinny for for his age!๐Ÿ˜† He didn't appeal to me much! I was soley focused on Veer-Bani!โ˜บ๏ธ

Sorry, for this long post, but had a tirade of emotions after finishing the latest episode! ONLY complaint is of the VFX and execution!๐Ÿ˜† They look super sloppy!๐Ÿ˜› But, said and done, coming at such distrubing times, especially from balaji, Naagin 5 is a pleasant surprise package! All credit to the team and specially, Veer-Bani!โ˜บ๏ธ

You can expect more such essays from me henceforth, please bear! This is the only channel, i can convey my thoughts!๐Ÿ˜†

Hey welcome๐Ÿค—

Loved your review really โค๏ธ

I've always been a fan of fantasy shows as in Indian ones they start of really well at the start and then the story kind of gets hosh-posch in the middle..

So I've watched all Naagin seasons except season 2 which was a tragedy in itself and left few after they got ruined namely season 4..so yeah I was really excited about this one as in first for surbhi and now sharad , been his fan since Dulhan days..

I hope they maintain this spiceness which Vani brings in their scenes and keep the thriller factor of the franchise intact!

You and your long essays both are duly welcome!๐Ÿ˜†

Hi!

Sharad Malhotra is doing a very good job as Veer. Veer is reckness, mannerless, powerful, obsessed and entertaining. I like the fact the hero of this season is as powerful as the heroine unlike other seasons. I mean I obviously like the hero, Mahir Sehgal of season 3. He was really sweet and innocent. He was an ideal husband but he was a human. Therefore, he couldn't protect himself against the negative characters. It happened in season 4 as well because the hero of that season was also a human. I agree that vfx is not good. The guy who is playing the role of Jay is Mohit Sehgal. He played the character of Samrat in a tv show, "Mile Jab Hum Tum" and he is popular actress, Sanaya Irani's husband. Btw, cheel means eagle. When I read the subtitles on Voot I saw cheel was translated as eagle.

@I was probably 3-4 years when dulhan aired!๐Ÿ˜†So, haven't watched it, but yes, heard a lot about it!

Coming to fantasy, its actually very difficult in itself to handle fantasy shows! Forget indian television, even in the west, its a challenge for them! Reason, it vulnerable of turning into comedy!๐Ÿ˜† Also, cost wise, myself being a VFX artist, it takes a hella time and intricate details to coin out good gigs!๐Ÿ˜† So, its understandable! But in here, VFX are very basic! Except Cheel and Saap, there are no other animals as such!๐Ÿ˜†

Coming to spice and thrill, yes! I so want it to remain intact! Its so easy to make a show predictable! Especially Indian TV shows!โค๏ธ The USP of Naagin 5 is THE ULTIMATE STRONG, MALE LEAD!๐Ÿ˜Ž Very very rarely you even find a powerful male lead! Veer-bani literally epitomises, feminism for me!(MEN AND WOMEN STAND EQUAL) I love when shows, give such strong messages in a subtle way! More power to Naagin and Veer-Bani!โค๏ธ

Hi Shirsha, I like your name! Unique one!๐Ÿ˜Š Yes, Veer is a very spicy and interesting character! But, again this rawness comes when the character is negative! That's why, veer should stay grey shaded!๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜Ž Bad boys kinda has a liberty to do literally anything you see!๐Ÿ˜† They could be excessively masculine at times or cutely feminine too!๐Ÿ˜† There characters have amazing developing graph!๐Ÿ˜†So, fingerscrossed!๐Ÿ˜ƒ

@Bold, yess!!! Totally Agree! That's what I said in the above reply! The USP of this show, is unabashedly Veer! He brings that much needed male balance against bani! #Feminism!๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜†

Thank you for liking my name. โ˜บ It's an uncommon Bengali name. I think Veer's character will remain grey shaded.

Agree with you, Strong Male lead are rare occurance on tv especially ITV..so yeah we should be thankful for having Veer type character for Naagin 5 with Sharad as a Bonus..he is like completely different person in this one..total 360 degree change๐Ÿ˜ Kudos to him man!

Happy to see new viewers loving the show for all the great points highlighted. Bloopers aside (which are very few), and poor vfx aside, this is a show that deserves a lot of success. Hope trp continues improving steadily.

About Sharad & Surbhi both are doing fantastic job with their respective characters especially Sharad

Dhoom macha raha hai veer ke charcter mein!๐Ÿ˜Ž

My reason is too watch the season is sharad & surbhi sizzling chemistry
