May be he was very excited abt the track, playing disabled person. Acting wise, these tracks are great.

In this way Pearl is growing as an actor. Actors don't decide on tracks and plots, so we can give him some leeway here.

Mahir and Pearl are two different characters. When pearl is on the show he is Mahir and not Pearl.

Maybe he even has totally different personality with Mahir. Nakuul Mehta once said that he is the total opposite of Shivaay Singh Oberoi. Pearl is too different and maybe total opposite of Mshir.

Plus, he is asking in terms of his performance. Every actor and actress has the right to know how he fare in terms of his acting abilities.

Let's be honest. Mahir character was mostly in the shadows. Pearl didn't get much chance to flex his acting muscles. And most of the time before memory loss, he was just shown as Bela ke pyaar mein deewana premi😆
