I think he wants to observe Vish and see for himself whether he could be in love with her or not before memory lost. When he asked Vish to bring the meds he said to her that she forgot how he takes his meds. Then he was asking a lot of question to Vish when he told her to sleep in his room. Maybe, he even asked Vish to sleep on the couch or he himself slept on the couch. I don't think he will let them share a bed.
