Logically this scene has its own significance and maker's should show this scene in proper manner.

I really wish they'll show Mahir connecting the dots and realize that although she had agenda initially but she was always there to protect him and his family! Then all misunderstanding khatam and Mahir saying:" tum theek ho, Bela!!" Aww these two

I'm just visualizing your described scenario crusty!!

How ye dono sitting on the bed and discussing all these while bela's eyes become teary and mahir ji feeling all the love towards bela.

As this is a finite series and they have wasted so many episodes on daily soap saas bahu saga crap I don't think they will have enough episodes to actually show that thing that you are saying.
