why isn't mahir able to tell the truth of the murder to bela?

He could and should but Yuvi/Vikrant is not giving them the opportunity by being with Bela almost 24/7. I think Mahir now suspects very strongly this Yuvi is fake and will try to find out the truth with or without Bela's help, meanwhile Bela may now misunderstand Mahir again, she has been tagged and is "it" till she tags the next person or finishes the game by coming clean with Mahir!

Frustrating the way the writers are showing it, a nonsensical story can also be executed beautifully - it's all in the execution and that is very below average in this show currently.

The staircase scene was telecasted last week Bela checked Mahir right hand and did not find anything she was super happy gave a hug and the next moment she's back at square one...

I was also thinking why he did not talk instead of mumbling and crying he was losing his time in getting worried instead of decoding the happening.

Then Bela was crying in front of her snake mommy why Mahir did not see anything...

The corpse was not needed to be cremated Mahir did not ask where's the body if Bela's snake mommy is dead she can't take the form of human again to stay in front of the Sehgal family as a dead body.
