Though I didn't notice any sign on Mahir's hand, I felt when Bela's Mom was cursing Vish and Vikrant by saying that Bhole Naath Himself would kill them (something along those lines) my first thought was could it be something related to Mahir? Because they echoed that part and whenever a dailogue is echoed more often than not it holds some significance.
