I don't think that Bella is playing with others feelings at this point of time.
She had just seen a dream where her mother told her somebody will betray her and hurt her. That too is somebody whom she loves and trusts very much. And her mother does not give the full clear story or message of who will betray her. Then both Vikrant and Vishaka who are her best friends and ex lover whom she loved and trusted for more than100 years instigate against Mahir. People whom she thought to be her confidante and whom she can trust blindly said it over and over. There is only so much others can say before it started sinking in. I mean yeah we can say no no once or twice but how much more can we actually block that.
Yes, Mahir is Bella's current love. However, we seem to forget that this Mahir is Bella's accidental husband whom she only knows for 3 months. Who in that 3 months she resisted every attempts of his kindness. While Vishaka and Vikrant are the people she had known for more than 100 years. 3 months vs more than 100 years. It's not rocket science whom she will have a tendency to trust more. Loving someone is one thing but trusting someone is another. And I think we should applaud Bella that even after all the bashing against Mahir she does not trust them immediately. She even stand on her grounds that Mahir will not do something like that. I think that speaks volume on where she stands and to her character.
