LOL, this is naagin series, Mahir will turn into mama's boy and that's a guarantee. Ritik had reason to love and trust Shivanya blindly. He thought she was made for him due to the lie about the kundali, plus she saved his life many times. Not just that Yamini kept harping how Shivanya is a savior of him and the whole family. Also, he could see love in her eyes for him although she never said the words before. Plus Shivanya was so sad and quiet due to her past that he changed himself for her and became happy go lucky to make her smile and happy. He was not like that in episode 1 before he met her. He was a workaholic, serious and boring person, like his cousins claimed. It was because of his happy go lucky behavior that Shivanya began laughing and smiling. Before that, she barely laughed or smiled at anyone..even her own sister Shesha. And Ritik didnot believe in Ichaadari naagins, he used to roll his eyes at his family's beliefs. It was only when Shivanya got bit by a naagin that he believed there is a naagin hunting his family.
About Mahir, yes he is observant but even he has not put 2 and 2 together so far. He will do that when the truth comes out, just like Ritik did. Ritik also used to ask millions of questions to Shivanya and insist on her answering, the situation used to get diffused by someone interrupting and the questions forgotten. Ritik didnot abandon Shivanya publicly, it was in front of his family because he thought she killed his father but don't be too sure about Mahir understanding Bela quickly. It will take time, especially since we have already seen how insistent he is on truth and what is right. There will be a backlash, count on it. But the truth will help out Behir just like it helped Rivanya reunite.

Ritik too was righteous, he too stood up for right. When Shivanya was almost raped by Viren, he fought for her with his whole family. He fought off Shivanya's "fiance" who was abusing her. When he thought Ankush sold off the naagmani, he told him off.When Viren stole money from the company safe, he again told him off. He even stood up to Yamini when a snake charmer was going to kill a snake which was Shesha. Ritik, just like Mahir had a do no wrong motto to his life so how is Ritik lesser than Mahir? In my opinion, they are neck to neck as good heroes.
BTW being feared is not a sign of righteousness. He is feared because he is the head of business and he can cut them off from money that those spoiled boys obviously crave.

Exactly, there is no part of Rocky in Mahir. Mahir is awesome while Rocky was the worst hero on TV ever.
BTW it's resounding lie that Ritik never questioned and suspected Shesha as Shivanya in the start. Whenever it was Shesha, Ritik used to frown and ask if she was really his Shivanya. She felt different, acted different, talked different. But since she used to look like Shivanya, he used to shake off his unease and sixth sense.
