When Rocky killed Shivangi he did it on the instructions of his father in law Ritik & it was never cleared why did both of them betrayed her at the last moment? Why did Ritik kill his own daughter Shivangi or was it an impostor? It might get cleared in Naagin S3 or in new Naagin S4 since both Bela & Shivangi belong to the Sheshnaag clan.As for Rocky taking the powers of Shivangi he was unaware of the whole truth during that time regarding Shivanya's death at the hands of her old nemesis Yamini & her cronies until Ankush another Male Naag showed the whole truth to Rocky.As to whether Rocky loved Shivangi its still a matter of debate but when he stabbed her he did not do it willingly & cried on losing her.So yeah Rocky did love Shivangi though Rudra loved Shivangi too but Shivangi always treated Rudra as her true friend while her heart belonged to Rocky.Rocky's betrayal though does not validate his actions even though in some corner of his heart he might have loved her.

I strongly feel mahir will turnout some special maybe rithik shivanya's son who has powers of both MATLAB being rithik's son he will be Suryavanshi prince who can only touch naagmani no naag or naagin can kill him being shivanya's son he will convert into naag after sometime or he is already a naag which is not revealed yet.

Rithik was d last Surya vanshi prince , so if mahir turn out rithik's son then his mother will be no doubt shivanya or who know he can be twin brother of Shivangi , so maybe mahir 2 turn out 2 be naag , gud 4 Bela this way she will not loose her powers
