yeah Fanaah seemed interesting if we can get past the weird CGI and yeah her makeup/outfits seemed loud in the show but she herself looked good, I'm actually watching Kavyanjali right now lol, I don't have the patience to sit thru the entire thing so I'm just skip watching episodes and plus it briefly had Anita sharing screen space with iqbal so I had t check it out 😆 I'll watch Fanaah after I'm done with that.

According to Anita's insta story she's shooting with the ACP so she has some scenes coming with him.

Also she posted some BTS of some photo shoot they did (I'm guessing for Colors since they're all in black) Anita looks stunning

It's actually SO ridden with vintage Kekta tropes 😆 the multiple marriages (Anji marries like 3 times) character deaths, plastic surgery etc but what I like about it despite the campiness is Anjali's character, she's very feisty and sassy with the evil mother in law (in the beginning of the show) and has a good self esteem, she doesn't let Kavya or Yug or anyone for that matter get her down. Eijaz and Anita have some really nice chemistry, the scenes are so badly edited though 😆 and so many uncomfy closeups. All the episodes are on daily motion and Vimeo in good quality too.

I personally liked Anjali with Yug (Hiten) because his character is so wonderful and so sweet to her when Kavya was being a douche to her. Also Shaurya's character (Iqbal) is SOO sweet ughh Kekta why didn't she cast them in another show! They have such good chemistry

Wow, didn't know Hiten was also there in the show. Anita got to act with three such good lookers in that show. I wonder why she didn't get more lead roles after that. Or maybe she tried for movies n didn't find great success there but missed out on good roles on TV.

I like that Anjali was married thrice in that show - I know that's a stupid thing to say. But I somehow don't like how romance is presented as such a passive thing on TV now a days. Girl n guy marry against both their wishes, at times accidentally (at the very least, one of them is unhappy about it). And then they neither divorce, nor actively try to know each other n make it work. Destiny keeps making them fall over each other, trigge ring some physical attraction each time (as they stare at each other against a beautiful background score) n finally succeeds in making them fall for each other. Why? Because they are soul mates.

no I totally get what you mean😆, Kekta overused the multiple marriages trope a lot and at times it was illogical too but yeah I like the notion of the spouses leaving. For instance in KA - Anjali straight up leaves Kavya and starts to live with Yug because she says she cannot handle the fact that she was insulted and borderline manhandled by Kavya since he didn't believe her about his evil mom and they divorce due to that😆. It's my fave track of the show so far along with the baby track. Even with Iqbal's character, she marries him only after she is widowed and her family wants her to be happy so she agrees to marry him (actually that and also because Kavya's ghost comes and tells her to move on😆) but yeah despite the OTTness I actually really like the show, it's one of kekta's best in terms of chemistry and story. And yes Anita got to work with Iqbal, Hiten and Eijaz in the show, she dated Eijaz as well since their chemistry was so good.

But i agree, Hitens character was great. Gosh those days Hiten was in every single show of kekta mata. He was so good in every character.
