Unpopular Opinion and i might be the only one with it

I am the minority or may be the only one who dint like Vidhi saluting Dev (not for the reason she did it but the act of salute itself)

She loves him i agree but why she has to put him so high like bhagwan... abhi tak she was all about how he is perfect and she is proud to love him... but that Salute was so over the top for me.

I really really really dint like it. it was like as a human being she is worshipping him like a God...

and in love this kind of imbalance is lil unsettling for me.

Pleade no offense meant for anyon who loved it for Romantic angle but its completely my personal POV and i am in no way belittling ViDev love story.. i love them to the moon and back.

Honestly speaking with all of dev's qualities that are very good he has a substantial amount of flaws -starting from being unable to speak his mind, to agreeing to what ever his mother says . There is no need to put him in any kind of pedestal.

Respecting someone and worshipping someone are different things and the show needs to be mindful of that otherwise this relationship will look unbalanced and wrong.

I don't know think you are in the minority. Even I didn't like her saluting him like that. Have many reasons for it. It looked too ott, I don't agree with her reason in any way as I don't think Dev's actions were praise worthy and as you said it does show a kind of imbalance in their relationship. Honestly its not even romantic for me. Their relationship should be of equals.

I like the fact that she respects him as every relationship should have respect but her putting him on pedestal is something I don't like. He needs a partner who not only supports him when he is right but also someone who can reprimand him or give him a reality check when he is wrong. Vidhi almost worships him which makes her blind to all his flaws. He is not a perfect person and thats something she should be able to see. Him being wrong in some matters certainly won't make him any less of a person. Aaj ke hi mamle ko pakad lo. There was no reason for her to be in awe of what he did. In fact I loved how Satyavati made him understand how it was wrong of him to agree to his sister's pachkani zidd. Vidhi should be someone like that to him.

I did not like it either and have said it before also it was extremely childish. Vidhi admires Dev as of now she is not in that love mode. Sometimes we get a glimpse but mostly it is admiration towards a mentor.

It was out of the way to see Vidhi like that. Even Dev was asking kya thaa yeh ? Respect samajh mein aati hein ...Aaj aise cabin mein aana aur salute karna office mein thoda weird laga ... But baaki episode toh theek thak thaa. Salute karna matlab Aisa hein kee woh zyada Dev ko jaise worship kar rahi hein iss type ki vibes de sakti hein. Woh mujhe kaafi childish harqat lagi . Otherwise their conversation was good.

no, no, I am right behind you. I felt it was a little too much. Dev definitely did a lot for his family from the time when he was in teens. Its definitely not a trivial thing. But at the end of the day he is a human.

I feel that Vidhi is still in her first love feels that everyone has in the early days of infatuation, crush, love. All her life so far has been simple and hurdle free. She hasnt faced the real world yet. All her life, she led a cocooned and protected life. She is high on the feeling that Dev also loves her. But once the real world problems start to catch-up with her, she will realize that not everything is rosy and rainbows. She has a lot of growing up to do to be at least half mature as Dev.

What was she even thinking when she was all jumpy, happy and excited the very next day after the engagement broke? This is where she needs to grow up. (dont get mad at me, i know she just got to know about Dev's love towards her, but it felt very awkward for me to see her like that)

I want to understand why Dev has fallen in love with Vidhi, yeah they are the leads and they are the end game. But I want to see strong reasons - yes, she gave him the sense of belonging, she helped him relive his childhood. She is innocent, she is chirpy and lively. But I want some more insight on why he loves her. I know, no one can say why they love someone.

Both of them have long way to go in their relationship and love.

And to make someone comfortable u never start making him feel guilty when he is already giving in self doubts....it shows when he was talking to Priya...when he said trust mein abhi thik nhi hai..

We are making fun of him for sulking but people like dev always like to take responsibility of others faults.....abhi suicide drama kitna usko trouble karta hai...fir dekhna..

And vidhi is acting as a kid who had crush on his mentor...

Abhi tak mene uske love ko sirf crush aur admiration ki category mein hi rakha hai...
