Today's confession was so so so out of the world...... Because there was nothing typical about it........ It was different and it suited them so so so well........ No gifts, no decoration, no planning, nothing grand - nothing that doesn't matter in the long run....... But everything that mattered was there - them just looking at each other, Dev full of words and Vidhi at a loss of words; Dev wearing the shirt she gifted her - his escape for relief when the world suffocated him; Vidhi hearing the words she imagined a thousand times but never thought would ever see the light of the day, repremanding herself even for expecting Dev to love her; and most importantly the force that brought them together - the Goddess, the temple, symbolising Destiny that brought them together...... And the confession itself was so so well crafted along with the expressions of both........ It showed so subtly and nicely the contrast between Dev and Vidhi, the contrast as to how they look at the world - Vidhi being "maasum" as Dev rightly pointed out and Dev being the mature one as always; Vidhi being out of the world happy, flying on top of the world but Dev being so grounded feeling the same emotions. Because they are looking at it differently, because they are thinking differently, Vidhi just living the moment and Dev simultaneously seeing the present and the future.

So on this note, let's remember all such beautiful, simple and real confessions we saw on ITV......... Let me go first....... Purab's confession to Jassi in the show Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin and the letter he writes while departing from her....... Real, simple, impactful.......

This confession matched Dev's character, nothing over, to the point. Loved it.

there is none from itv confession for me.. cause my expectations are just to other worldly after having almost 300 kdramas with me... so mine would come from Kdramas but as not many watch so ill skip that. but Dev sir ka confession matched upto that level for sure.

now abt the confession...

it was just like Dev... seedhi baat, no bakwaas.

and whats the best part... he wasnt impulsive here, jaise gusse me hamesha baat bolta tha and then regret doing it.... so it wasnt something he did on jiffy and with scope of regret in future.

it was well thought, well worded, very well articulated CONFESSION.. and what mattered were those 3 words and all the build up till then....

it was so normal, as if this wasnt something extraordinary for Dev to tell her... cause that feeling is itself that powerful and grand ke use kisi aur lavish support ki jaruarat nahi thi...

and just like her his love for her needn't not to be extraordinary....

cause his love is the heartfelt, not like chaand tare lake dene hai,..

Dev ke dil ki awaz bas wahi pahuchani thi Vidhi ke kaano tak... and the moment he told he had this sigh of relief ke jis ek cheez ko dil pe rakha tha, soffocating him... is not out in open. and he neednt to hide his affection any more.

It was Dev and his Simplicity that made Vidhi fall for him and same it was her masoomiyat that arrested him heart from the start... and now its same again his Simple, straight yet the most powerful confession... and her masoomiyat still trying to touch him to believe it actually happened....

he still had this silly smile.. looking at her being on top of the world...and stil being the Vidhi he fell from the start.

And Dev sir still worrying abt Future, so like him.. but at least he jumped over that very first hurdle ke kaise bol sakta hu... now we are back in business of a hurdle race for another 40 years (80 saal ki planning ki hai na sir ne.. bad batane me lagenge agle 100 episode)

All in all... the Confession we actually deserved after being so patient for 106 episode.....

now we also deserved more.. some hugs, hand holding, office me chori chori dekhna, jealous Dev (Vidhi aage akele thodi badhegi.. aayega Arjun...)

and lastly. thanks for this post......

Never seen many ITV shows but there was one Madhubala which became unbearable very quickly. I also watched iss rang pyaar ke aise bhi and by swear that confession between Dev and Sonakshi was also very very very impactful. I have also watched reporters but that confession was not anything to remember.

@ Bold while you have drawn such a beautiful contrast between Dev and Vidhi but the words written in bold are just right on point. It was indeed the most beautiful confession I have ever seen on ITV And your write up made it even more beautiful.

thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts on this. 👏

ok so i missed to add abt this one line but saumya mentioned and i had to come back tto write

very frist time Dev left her speechless.. after countless time of him being at the other side of table.

finally tables have turned...and thats the bestest part abt them as couple... opposite yet have their own moments of shifting the gears.....

And Dev left not just Vidhi but ENTIRE FANDOM SPEECHLESS, DROP DEAD, today.... yaha twittwe ig sab jagah yahi haal hai....

i absolutely loved the confession scene. It was sweet and simple. Touched my heart. Watching that scene on loop since morning.

Iqbal stole the episode for me. 😳 What a dialogue delivery. His voice, uff. I was like keep talking, aaj aap hi ko sunane ko maan kar rha.

He told about the letter, said you are no less of a person, you are very special, innocent and pyaare dil wali. 😳 I have feelings for you, the way he said i love you to vidhi with tears in his eyes. omg, stole my heart. ❤️ Vidhi couldn't believe it, she thought she was dreaming? so she asked dev to pinch her. He did so. 🤣 Kya pagli film hai, usko kya yahan pe bahot logon ko pinch karne ki zaroorat thi. Waise maine bola tha kal, dev will confess, it won't be a dream sequence. I am right, then. 😎

Vidhi bina time waste karti hui, dev ko i love you sir bol dali. Haye dev smiled and was looking at her with so much love in his eyes for her. Beautiful confession scene ever. ⭐️

Loved the title track lines....

Na umra ki seema ho,

Na janamon ka ho bandhan,

Jab pyaar kare koi,

Toh dekhe keval maan... ❤️
