Today's confession was so so so out of the world...... Because there was nothing typical about it........ It was different and it suited them so so so well........ No gifts, no decoration, no planning, nothing grand - nothing that doesn't matter in the long run....... But everything that mattered was there - them just looking at each other, Dev full of words and Vidhi at a loss of words; Dev wearing the shirt she gifted her - his escape for relief when the world suffocated him; Vidhi hearing the words she imagined a thousand times but never thought would ever see the light of the day, repremanding herself even for expecting Dev to love her; and most importantly the force that brought them together - the Goddess, the temple, symbolising Destiny that brought them together...... And the confession itself was so so well crafted along with the expressions of both........ It showed so subtly and nicely the contrast between Dev and Vidhi, the contrast as to how they look at the world - Vidhi being "maasum" as Dev rightly pointed out and Dev being the mature one as always; Vidhi being out of the world happy, flying on top of the world but Dev being so grounded feeling the same emotions. Because they are looking at it differently, because they are thinking differently, Vidhi just living the moment and Dev simultaneously seeing the present and the future.
So on this note, let's remember all such beautiful, simple and real confessions we saw on ITV......... Let me go first....... Purab's confession to Jassi in the show Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin and the letter he writes while departing from her....... Real, simple, impactful.......
