Okay so i found one scene today way tooo regressive and angered me a lot.. and hence we dont hv much abt ViDev so thinking why not everyone what they think abt it.

When SW taunts Priya ke "Aurat chahe kuch bhi bada ban jaye, company ki ceo malkin etc ban jaye par ghar ki jimmedaari to usi ki hi uthani hai. like ghar ke khane ka, ghar ki puri jimmedaari uski hi hai"

I absolutely HATE DETEST this mentality

Like whats this...

Just cause she is a lady.. why the hell Household responsibilities are by default hers ?

why cant we teach our boys household chores when their wives sisters mothers can handle outside responsibilities with same ease n perfection?

why its always like ghar ka kaam to aurato ka hai.. mard nahi karte ghar ka kaam..kyu bhai ghar ka kaam karne se mardangi kam hoti hai kya ?

matlab cooking, cleaning and washing are basic survival skills right.. then why a male cant be taught these basic skills and why a fellow female (be it a mother, sister or wife) has to bear the burden to take care of him all her life.. uski apni jindagi nahi hai kya ???

agar bhookh sabko lagti hai to khana sabko banana ana chahiye na.. nahi ???

what you all think ??

and its not just for tagged people.. anyone who wants to share your inputs please do share...

I agree and this is where I hope Dev eventually starts to speak up a little. Dev just witnessed that people get married to get a housemaid only and hearing these kinds of talks in his house should be unacceptable.

I like Satyavati overall..but I hope they show some clash between Dev and SV soon. He needs to speak up when he knows something isn't right under his umbrella. It doesn't need to be huge fights but he should raise his concerns.

I hated that part very much dear. That's why I didn't even pointed out that thing in while giving views on episode. If you closely observe there was one more thing in that. How Satya was giving praises over Chitra and the way she was telling Aapki training kabhi fail ho sakti hein. It's like beti beti hein and Bahu bahu hoti hein .I personally had experienced a lot and once I heard that a bahu can never become beti , this was said by mother only, not by my saas. Before marriage also from childhood onwards one thing is repeatedly heard you are girl, once you will get married you have to do all household works. So abhi se aadat dalun. Ghar ke kaam Karna buri baat nahin hein. Lekin iss mein joh discrimination ke tag hein naa woh actually Ghar se hi shuru hoti hein. Boys Ghar ke kaam mein haath bataye naa bataye unhein koyi kuch nahi kahenge. Ek aur cheez hota yeh hein kee agar ek ladka rasoi mein jaake khaana banata bhihein toh Ghar ke bade log including male and female usse bolenge Mard ho tum,yeh kyun kar rahe ho ? Matlab haddi hoti hein yaar. Iss thing pe bahut baar argument ho chuki hein. Thankfully jiss ghar mein meri shaadi huyi hein wahan mujhe zyada freedom milti hein. Aur aaj bhi yeh ho rahe hein. Aur mein iss topic ke baare mein baat karegi toh rukega nahi yaar. Isliye abhi ke liye bas

I really want that attitude of Satya should change, Priya's taunts over Abhi should also be finished. Then serial would be more pleasing to watch

SW saying girls only should know household duties, this is wrong. Sabko aani chahiye regardless of gender. Satya kabhi kabhi regressive thoughts mei hp se bhi aage nikal jaati hai.

I think, Dev will challenge these norms for vidhi. Then Priya will feel ki mere liye stand nahi liya, which is absolutely correct.

Dev's father's thinking was backward, Satyawati se promise le liya. Satyawati had no problem, her choice, its fine. But how can you expect every girl of the family to do the same.

I remember a scene fro the show, where Priya was asking Satyawati that I am the daughter inlaw you did not let me work but what about my daughter? Satyawati was like plan another baby, I will pray that its would be a boy😡

Kitni backward haiye Satya, tu kyu saree pehne hai ja aadam hauwa ki tarah paed paodho ke patte lapet le. khud kyu do paida kiye, har saal ek paida kar leti Raichand ke nalayakchand.

This is my first post in loooong time and first post in this forum, and your this topic has intrigued me. Watching the episode, i was beyond annoyed about what was shown and how it was shown. They tend to show these every chance they get.

SW and HP are so so regressive in their thought process. I cant even start putting them down on the number of points these two have managed to put me off and agitated me.

I absolutely hated the way SW was talking about the place of women in kitchen even when she is a successful career woman. Mindset like this pull all the women down. I am a working mom with 2 kids and would never want such things for my kids.

I am no fan of Priya either, but she has every right to do what she wants to. If she wants to work she will, if she doesnt she will not. She is her own person and SW or Abhi has any right to tell her what to do or not to do.

Things like cooking, cleaning are gender neutral duties. everyone should know how to do these, not just the ladies, girls of the household. It is because of this thinking, the boys grow up entitled.

HP, cant even imagine a father not supporting their kid or believing in them. Parents should be mature, strict and understanding but not bind their children with naam, prathishta etc etc. He is always ready to jump on Vidhi the moment he feels his prestige will be impacted in the society. I can understand that as a part of the society, we should be aware of the impact we have on the society and vice versa. But just to please the society, we should do or should not do things.

I feel like all these things will be questioned by Dev once Vidhi gets into the picture and all the boundaries, walls and obstructions that SW and HP had put around them will start crumbling and shattering down. The path wouldnt be easy or straight. long long road ahead.

ok, rant done. thanks all for reading!

Just saw your post

Even I felt that scene was so regressive but even in real life there are some people who think like that ...

Priya doesn't seem like the ITv vamp behind all the money planning and plotting sometimes her anger seems justified, she has the ability skills knowledge and really wants to work hard for company.

And if abhimanyu is intrested in kitchen then why can't he is allowed to take responsibility of kitchen and moreover they have so many helpers so they keep track of what ingredients are necessary and where they are kept or when to buy something....it's no necessity for Priya to keep track of this if she is not interested unlike middle class when one has all the responsibility
