Is satyawati positive or negative? - Page 2

Satyavati is surely a character that has many layers. Which are yet to be revealed..

We know of her regressive thoughts, Dev knows that too..

Now how she reacts to Vidhi and Devs match is what needs to be seen.. she probably has an inkling of ViDev's feelings for each other...now I'm wondering if this is the reason she is so keen for Vidhi to get married.

I think she will overall have a positive character but she may be slightly possessive about Dev and may not agree for Vidhi right away.

To me her character also seems complex similar to Amba. It's hard to grasp what they have on their minds. I personally think there are so many people who will be against Vidhi-Dev relationship that I hope Satyavati isn't one of them (not like Yogesh or Amba).

I'm too tired seeing step mother being a villain/negative character in shows. It doesn't need to be. Not every step mother needs to be shown greedy and selfish. It sends the wrong message.

I'm interested in knowing how Satyavati will react since her and her late husband also had age gap between them and she is proud of that relationship. If she is against their relationship, she needs to show a really good reason to Dev. So let's see..

i think the writer is a great mahabharat fan.....thats what i assumed from the names and how the relations came.....satyavati, shanthanu,devvrat and amba all are the main characters of mahabharat......marriage of fisherwoman satyavati to king shanthanu was the reason why bhishma pitamaha or devvrat's reason of taking the oath to not the throne and not to get married but to serve the kingdom and the upcoming kings of hastinapur....and amba was the reason for devvrats death....myths says that by bhishma holding amba's hand dragging her from that swayamvar itself made amba fall in love with bhishma but bhishma's rejection and amba waiting to take the revenge and all are the famous parts of mahabharat.....

bhishma's dedication towards satyavati and her sons were really appreciable.....and his love towards his father and maintaing that oath also....even though the show doesnt show any oath's and all but somewhere its so similar....

i really do think the writer has tried to give a contrast of mahabharat to nuksh

Very close and clear observation by you. There was one episode when she was saying Priya that iss baar mein bhagwan se prarthna karungi kee tum ladke ko janam doon. What does that mean ? It was just a second which was some kind of suspicion in me is she really good or else what is she ? Why she always underrates Priya ? I think Priya knows the answers, we need to wait for it
