Decent Dev-Vidi office scenes today

I'm actually liking the Dev-Vidi scenes in office ones. Quite different for some reason. Dev is straight-forward supervisor/mentor (I actually don't like the word,"boss" even though that's what he is technically lol 😂 ) and focused on company growth, but, simultaneously, is interested investing in employee growth, which is a key contributing factor towards company's success. I like that they are showing how the company culture is imperative in today's world for an employee and what the employee can bring in from their side that contributes towards the growth of big organization. No romance, not much drama, aside from that male employee in red shirt and few others mistreating Vidi (except for the housekeeping lady with whom the tissue scene was decently performed). Also, Vidi's behavior in the scenes is going as per her character arc. The skittish demeanor + lack of knowledge is maintained and, at the same time, her assertiveness also comes through decently. The scenes are not shying from this fact and her skittish personality is retained at the same time. Also, while she trusts her hisaab-keetab without a calculator, Dev doesn't argue much but suggests, that later, she has to rely on computer and calculator hence her flaw is bought out in a simple way.

I just wonder is Dev is oblivious to Yogesh-Kamna's behavior or somewhat dubious but not reacting much towards. I mean, some obvious red flags were depicted when they lied about Vidi's reaction of declining the job when it was only partially correct (as per viewer's observance) and Dev going directly to her house, Kamna's outburst on Vidi accidentally toppling over the flower vase and failed attempt to oust her from the premise + stating that the outburst was from not receiving the information, Yogesh's over-confidence, etc. It's good to see that there are employee's who have their own selfish needs/socially conscious, etc. I mean, it seems like Yogesh/Kamna are already unable to digest Dev hiring Vidi as she's different unless the dialogue he said about him knowing about reason behind his action is some kind of thing that requires further development since right now, this seems like a plot that could have potential. Either it's Dev's flaw or he might have some inkling of this.

PS, I like the bg music also of Dev's 😂 . It goes along with Dev's confidence and as the owner and supervisor in the company.

Dave understands Vidhi might be his personal experience because he took over the company responsibility at very young age and most of the family members or office staff might have given him a very tough time as well .

This is a good point....he might also feel that sense of kinship because she is also trying to find her feet at her first job at a young age. And it's an interesting coincidence that both of them now share the same date of starting their first job....lol

But more than anything, Dev himself is an honest person so I think he values the kind of honesty he sees in Vidhi....he's just more wordly wise than her but the sincerity is common in them. Right now he wants to nurture Vidhi to her potential....because the world in general has no appreciation for honesty and sincerity....and Vidhi is also struggling to assert herself since she is constantly being brought down by the forces around her....that is where Dev has stepped in to help her value her honesty rather than letting people call it her shortcoming.

Myrah, I'm curious if there is a particular reason you're calling her "Vidi" instead of Vidhi😆

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe her name is spelt as "Vidhi"

Sorry, it's my autocorrect that's been acting weird on my internet browser.😆 I tend to type "Vidhi" but it autotypes to Vidi. I didn't pay proper attention to it before this happened. Thanks for pointing it out. 😂

Using a different browser for now lol. 😂

Bold: Hmm, he has mentioned that finding honesty is rarity and people like Vidhi nowadays, for sure.

The office scenes are so lovely and different from other TV shows. And Dev is like a mentor, he listens to her patiently and tries to understand what she wants to say. He advices and explains things composedly to her. One thing that i like about him is that he doesn't laugh at her like the others. The way he understands her background and he supports her with this job offer is really commendable.👏

Those colleagues are mistreating her, it is really frustrating. I hope she would become friends with someone else other than Indira the housekeeping lady.

I really think Dev isn't aware of his friend Yogesh and Kanika's real personalities.

I agree with you Bg music is really nice.

Yes, that's absolutely true. He has gone through the same, so he understands how difficult it is going to be for her. He is trying to give her a hand in order to help her evolve.
