Was expecting some typical drama over rejection but there were decent moments that were handled nicely. Vidhi's honesty was out that she couldn't cook/sew through her behavior and verbal actions, like the girl literally cannot prevaricate for life lol 😂. Lol, not all can digest honest people.
I liked Dev admitting Vidi returning his expensive ring + him reimbursing the financial damage done to the bowl. Also, the moment wherein Dev called out the suitor's family over the recipe of Bhaigan Bharta as the basis for developing and nurturing a relationship. Plus, Dev advised Vidi's father to change the perception and principles with changing times was nice. I think the handling of the scene without going the typical cliched route -- decently performed. Dev only explained what he observed and didn't react much when Vidi's father put him in same age group while praising him.
I liked how Vidi's mother admitted as to hearing Vidi being praised, that too by an outsider (was expecting some kinda scene where the family considered Dev as some angel in disguise or something as opposed to this lol 😂 ). The father is mehh, glossing over his daughter's talent improperly as opposed to Dev and Vidi's mother. Only moment I liked was when the father admitted that she's good at keeping financial records.
Also, Vidi's mother isn't rushing Vidi to get married, even though it is her dream. She needs to make herself responsible and capable enough to trust herself and not hold herself responsible. Good moment, there.
Not really sure, what to make out of out of the last scene. 😂 Lmao, felt so overtly mytho-based to involve Amba's role and dynamic with Dev. Line felt comical with not tying hair until their relationship is solemnized. Mythology, fine I understand, but Amba just seems more like a psychotic character as of now lol. 😂 Not sure of mytho reference, but she just looks like stalker or something unless the stage is set for something else by the writers. Lol
