One can start this as a practice starting with small things! If not ornaments at least coins??!! But anyway coins can only be exchanged for ornaments later! But when need be you can use them! 😃 Just my opinion change!

Buying gold is an Indian thing than a South Indian thing 😆...But mujhe actually gold jewellery mein kuch interest nahi hai.

I know in Dubai gold is cheaper isliye people buy gold there. My Dad used to work in Dubai when we were kids. He used to buy gold there when there was some festive season 😆.

I totally agree with you Poo 🤗

I know that gold is an investment option but I still cant get myself to buy gold 😆. I am automatically drawn towards clothes than gold 😆.

My MIL keeps telling us to buy gold but neither me nor my hubby are interested in buying gold. Plus gold these days have become unaffordable!

yes dubai is all time shopping ka Adda.aajkal yaha to har jagah gold hi gold hai😆 news papers main gold ki offer add se jaada kuch nahi hai😆 i have here tamil telgu friends they buy lots of gold😆 they said hum log gold hi always lete hai.

Yes I did I did! 👍🏼 I watched the MTV Unplugged version of the song! Where the singer is singing and ARR playing the music! That was an awesome setup and music! But the song - I'm yet to like it! Most of the times it happens to me with ARR songs! I don't get to like them imm but after listening to them for few times, I tend to like them! But it was good to listen and watch!

I was hung on to the song ever since I heard it 😆.

Yes ARR's songs grow on you and once done...its hard to let go of his songs! 👏

You are right Sumi! For festivals when we want to buy for everyone, gold may not be the affordable choice! Clothes will be the one to satisfy all!

But spending all the money on expensive clothes! That shud be big NO! Slow and steady one way or the other one wud tend to think in this line, 'cos of the gold rate which is in peak now! And when one has daughter, they find an easy reason to buy gold! As if they are going to give dowry for their marriage in their generation! 😆 But anyway its individual choice! 😃
