MANEESHA, sure all of us have to put in more effort...

In addition to all the things that maneesha has beautifully listed in this thread and also in another thread she has started with the heading'GUYS DO READ, IT IS V IMP', I would like to suggest some more things we can do.

1.Even if each one of us spend 10 minutes a day posting 5 short comments every time we log in, in addition to hitting the CM,it would be great.it is not enough if we just press the like button...we can dwell in detail on the posts we like more ,after that...otherwise there is this chance that the time we allot ourselves to spend in the forum will be gone and we wont care to comment on other posts.. What do you say?

2..When someone posts OS,Predictions etc, pl don't ridicule them even mildly, esp if it is a newbi posting...Because then they will be hesitiant to do more posts...I talk from personal experience...And also take care to encourage them more..This will make the silent members come forward..with posts, opinions etc.There are so many silent members, I was one for such a long time and have been active only since the past 2 weeks.

2.Another thing I would like to suggest is ,whoever starts a new thread, please post a reminder in bold and in different color about the need to make comments, however short they may be,before starting on with the article..also an appeal to the silent members to become active..What is your opinion?

3.And we shouldn't wait till the week end or till we get an exciting episode to post views and comments, I feel.

If all of us take care to do all this, NBT will surely become no 2 atleast next week...

.And one thing to rejoice even now is the fact that in colors channel, our show has the 2nd position, next to Madhubala...👏

I differ. If the quality of articles is good, if the analysis is good, then people will automatically read and post here. Merit doesnt need any publicity. If the content is so powerful, one doesnt have to advertise. The focus should be on meaningful analysis and not on the number game. We are dealing with fiction here. So, just like any other creative field, criticism is bound to happen. This does not mean that there is any adverse comment on the merit of the star cast involved. I have already mentioned on some other post that there has been continuous deterioration in the plot over the past 2 weeks (for whatever reasons, economic or otherwise), so when the base content itself is getting diluted, how can anyone write about it? With this background, the number or ranking can give, at the most, a momentary gratification, nothing more :)))))
