Yes it referring to mythological characters at each situation does give the characters a depth and meaning...
Hope P has same set of morals as Raavan not to touch Megha if she doesn't want to be.. And realize he musunderstood her signals...

jo bhi bas mere hero ko jaada taklif nahi honi chahiye...u all are worried for megha...but i am worried for mohan becoz vo megha ko us halat mein dekh nahi paayega...mohan ko bohut taklif hogi.

Yes Mohan will be hurt definitely for two reasons...
One that Megha didn't trust him enough...and secondly he couldn't help Megha and save her from facing this

no dear megha mohan par trust nahi us baat ka mohan ko koi farak nahi padta...but ya he couldn't help her and she face this problem he badly hurt with this reason.
