The men are all standing in the balcony. After a while they can no longer hear the sound of music and dance and they all decide to go down.
Rangeeli is lying on her bed, her eyes closed. Avtaar enters the room, sees Rangeeli sleeping in that fashion. He closes the door and goes and sits on the sofa, reclining his legs on the table. Rangeeli opens her eyes. Seeing Avtar siiting on the sofa, she gets up and walks towards him. Clutching his hands, she wails that it's not her fault that Ammaji got her married to Avtar, while he still loves Chanda. She further says that Avtar will have to accept her as his wife tonight as she has to give a grandson to Ammaji. If she can't, it will be Avtar's failure, but she will have to face the consequences of being thrown out of the haveli and she doesn't know where to go with her beauty. Avtar realises that she is not in her sense fully, and coaxes her back to the bed and makes her lie down. he then covers her with the comforter while she keeps on mumbling - I am Avtar's wife.
Gaji enters his room looking for Sunehri who is nowhere to be seen. AFter a while, she emerges from the washroom and throws the towel on Gaji's face. She then sits down on their bed Indian-styled and keeps on smiling. Gaji goes and sits in front of her and asks her how the jashn was. Sunheri tells him that it was a grand performnace and that they all enjoyed it a lot. She then tells Gaji that she will go to the temple the next day and offer one coconut more to God so as to keep Amamji away from the haveli forever and let Amba stay there with them always. Gaji is stupefied. Sunheri then lays down, half asleep. Gaji tells her that she may well not pray for Ammaji's return to the haveli, but she should also not pray to God to make Amba stay there forever, since no one can predict Amba's mood and today's favourable mood may change into a terrible one the next day. Sunehri smiles in her sleep.
Jhumar is sitting outside in the tree shade, smiling to herself and trying to control the swinging of her legs. Dheeraj sees her there and asks her about the programme. Jhumar tells him that she has enjoyed it a lot. DHeeraj then asks her if she is alright. Jhumar says that she is absolutely fine and Amba is their friend and she wants her to stay in the haveli forever. She then dozes off on Dheersj's shoulder.
Santosh enters her room to find Jogi sitting on the bed and fuming. On seeing her, Jogi asks her how could she enjoy with Amba who is their enemy? Santosh replies that AMba is not her enemy, rather it's Ammaji who does wrong stuff and makes others do wrong stuff as well. Jogi is furious and tries to raise his hand to slap Santosh. Santosh warns him to control himself as otherwise she could also return the favour to Jogi by slapping him hard, and won't need Amba to keep a gun on Jogi's head to propel her. She then moves to her bed. Jogi thinks that once Raghav is found, he wil through Amba out of the haveli as well as take revenge on Santosh. š”
AMba is standing in front of Bhagwani's photograph (her national pastime) and wondering what Bhagwani has done to the womenfolk in her household that they are even afraid to laugh out loud. She says that how come Bhagwani be born as a woman when she has committed the worst crimes against women herself. She should rather have been born as a heartless piece of rock and thrown away somewhere else.
Sia comes into the room and asks Amba why does she have so much poison against Ammaji in her mind? And why is she trying to solve the problems of the women in the haveli only? AMba keeps quiet. Sia tells her that inside the hardened exterior of AMba is the soft heart of a woman which is still visible, even though she is trying hard to conceal it. AMba stops Sia and asks her not to say anything more. Sia leaves the room and Amba says to herself in front of Bhagwani's photo that indeed there is indeed some relation with the haveli and that Bhagwani will have to pay a lot to settle the old scores.
Samar is eating. a servant comes with sweets and sherbat. Samar asks him why is he bringing all these stuff to which the servant says that it's Ammaji's oder. Ammaji comes down the staircase of the bungalow and tells Samar that she knows how to take care of worthy men and that's why she has sent the gifts. Samar tells her that it's not possible to make him go against his Sardar by offering him gifts. Ammaji tells him in a roundabout way that he is a fool enough to serve AMba, when in reality he should have his own herd of men who would be listening to everything he says.
Sia bring medicine for Chachi who seems to have a headache. Santosh is also sitting there and is wonderign how they will show their face downstairs after the ruckus they created last night.Amba comes there and tells them not to be ashamed since they haven't done anything at all. Actually, she had mixf something in their thandai so that they could loosen up. Shen then asks Santosh what her afve food is - Santosh tells its rajma chawal and boondi ki raita. AMba says that its her fave food too and then she calls Rangeeli to prepare the food, along with the guys. Rangeeli is upset.
