This Show is A Pure pain to watch

it has till today depressed me in every way possible.

and such a wimp lead who says revenge like and angry tiger and while taking that revenge is soooo lame.

and with that hateful banner which says that they are not glorifying it all wants me to murder the prouction house.

They should case against this show.
its rather glorifying its theme.

Exactly! Sia has become such a loser. All she does is say "Main vaada karti hoon, is kasbey ki har aurat ko Ammaji se azaadi dilwaoongi" yet barely does anything to make a difference.

Sometimes I wonder if the production house is preaching AGAINST such practices or actually PROMOTING them!

hhmmm....
you know something?? the sole reason why you guys are speaking against this show is it does not show stupid lame "romeo juliet " romance!!
And this is exactly the problem with 90% of us Indians! Everything is there right in front of our eyes, yet weturn deaf, dumb and blind to them! and our attityde is as sick as "Why should we bother??"!
Now I get why this forum is sooo empty compared to the other ones in IF...coz it shows THE TRUTH! n only the truth! no romance, so sAas bah saazish, no vamps, no cat fights etc etc....and this is India afterall! How can we expect Indians to like this kind of a show, which has no "masala" in it???
And please....if you are not interested in this show, kindly keep your unwanted opinions to yourself! and stop posting negative comments like "case against this show" etc etc. coz this show gives out a social message! something very imp. for India's development! So please! if you cannot appreciate COLORS's efforts , kindly stop abusing it too!!
It'll be a mercy! and if this show bothers you sooo much, just switch off the TV while this program's on!! as simple as that!
Lastly I wul like to say that- only wearing Indian clotes doesnt make you Indian....start feeling for Indian...and loving it like a true citizen!

I totally support you here!!!!! We just cant accept or face the truth which we r being shown thru this show. Thats why many of us have negative opinions about this show. But this show is one of the top 3 shows of Colors along with Balika Vadhu and Uttaran!!!!! I've always loved this show and its not always easy for a character like Sia to win always when her main aim is to bring light to the village of hw much women play an important role in one's life. Its not a very simple and easy job which can be done in a day like hw we c in other saas bahu sagas!!!!! She is bound to go thru all this. And if u c now bit by bit she is acquiring part of her goal.

The theme of the show is good but the point is they are showing bad people win all the time like all other shows. Sia wants to fight but what is she achieving? Atleast they should show good win over bad as well. In all the shows the evil people are on top for years together and then a small victory for good people and evil dominates again. They keep preaching sachayi ki jeet hoti hai. What jeet if it takes 20 years for schayi to win. It is the same story every where. Can't colours for once show something different. Make Sia and other ladies stronger instead of Yashpal and Amma ji winning all the time?

yes i agree
and i hate romantic shows .

my point is that they always show bad people win ....and the show lead has no backbone and is plain stupid.

It IS the truth! simply the truth! You must be crazy to think that winning against such odds, in a conservative place like Indian villages is a matter of a few seconds!! If that would have been the case, India would have been a much better picture!!!
But it is not that!!! With only a handful of righteous women like Sia fighting for truth n justice, and everybody else like us, sitting back n criticizing, do u think India's gonna develop soooo soon???

I don't know about the rest of the people who're criticizing this show, but personally that's not my reason. I have been following this show since day one and look forward to it everyday. As a feminist, I see a little bit of myself in Sia and can relate to her. I've never lived in India or been to a village, but I have read and heard a LOT about the injustice done to women over there. I would love to give those dominating losers who opress women a piece of my mind!

That is why this serial attracted me so much. Ammaji and her haveli might be fictional but that stuff does happen in real life and I'm eagerly rooting for Sia to win against Ammaji. It's just that the slow pace of this serial was starting to annoy me because Sia rarely took action. This was before she instigated Rangeeli and Sunehri against each other or beat up Yashpal or came up with a plan to entrap Raghav. So now I'm pretty satisfied with the show. It's great that finally, after months and months of sheer torture Sia and her supporters in the haveli are getting somewhere positive.

Nice to meet you. I'm glad that someone else follows the serial as enthusiastically as I do! 😊

@ pretty.woman - I know! Why aren't there more active members in this forum? I guess (like you said) people tend to be more attracted towards discussing shows that have romance and other masala elements.

You should try visiting this forum more often ... I'd love to discuss the show with you once in a while. :-)
