I find Rehman a brilliant talent and think somehow MKMM is not the best launch for him. That is because MKMM is mainly for the already established singers and popular reality show stars like Raja, Aneek, Anwesha, Vinit, Rahul to showcase themselves to their already numerous fans. In such a scenario, the upcoming talent is bound to be ignored.

I feel Rehman could easily have made it top 5 of a show like Saregama Challenge 2010 which is soon going to come. that would have been a better launch for him at any rate as he is very talnted and such shows are good for new talent.

Rehamn's classical base and voice quality can take him to places if utlilized properly- I genuinely feel he is a very promising talent. i just wish i could have heard him more in this particular show.😊😊

Much as i appreciate your sentiments, i believe that these untapped talents like Rehman are not really in a position to pick and choose which show they would like to do at this stage. They just have to grab the first opportunity that comes to them because they dont know when the next opportunity is going to come. Their financial situation also plays a part here. Though, in my opinion overall this platform has also given him good exposure and he may get a good break from composers like HR, Shankar or Shantanu Moitra who have seen him perform live.

Rehman got the right break here. He does not seem to be comfortable with typical bollywood songs at present. This show is good for him because in a team his talent in a particular style of singing could be exploited.
He has showcased his talent very well here. 👏 👏

I do not know whether he would have survived for long in SRGMP 10.
My POV, no offence. 😊

I think Rehman can showcase his talent on this show but on srgmp 10 he would have been eliminated early on the show because of his incapability of singing typical bollywood songs.
