Shaan Bhai is a real professional singer and he has given the song his personal softness in touch. Full Marks. 👏👏

This song announced the arrival of a star to come. One of my fav.

good song. however, the voice is not as polished as it is now. some words could have been more stressed and made more beautiful. roughness is there sometimes. a nice energetic song, clear pronunciation. have heard better songs from Shaan. would like to give an 8 out of 10.

Great singing from one of the most talented singers in Bollywood today!

He started of his career with this song, and he is starting this competition with this song. I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or this was planned. Nonetheless, already he displayed some great talent in this song. He sang it with great feel, he matched the beat of the song well with his singing, and was great overall. I agree with someone999 that his voice isn't as polished as it is now, and at some of the higher portions, he could've been a little stronger, for example near the end when he has to say "Dil" at a higher note.

So great performance overall, it was between 8 and a 9 for me, but I'm going to stick with a 8, because it wasn't a 9 all the way through, I feel his voice quality is better today than then. And also this is a tough competition so I have to grade harsher. But still great song and great performance!

It is my opinion that Shaan has enough songs in films to be included here and the competition should be among film songs only. Please cancel my vote if you dont agree.

On second thoughts i will wait for your reply before voting.

i didn't think about this too much. i just said, hey this was shaan's first big song, so lets start from that at this competition...

but i guess u have a point. but as we did with Alka's song from 90s (in the 00 competition), we'll let it go this time, but from on now, songs from films ONLY
