Reality show means...do din ki hain chandni phir kaali kaali raat hain...
And Himesh who constantly use to tell singers to sing in a particular genre so that they can earn 'rozi roti' out of it...someone go and ask this question to him, kya ukhaad liya usne sufi gaane gaa ke...biggest piece of crap in music industry...jitni burai karo kam hain...

Ah I hope he keeps up his riyaz and sings when opportunity comes about. He has great talent.
Inshallah hope the cafe business is doing well.

Again that versatility issue comes up.
As a singer should you try to be perfect in one or two areas in order to earn bread and butter out of it or you become versatile. Well Mussarrat, Ali Abbas and I am sure there will be many more singers who are great sufi singers. But will Music directors prefer them over Rahat Fateh Ali Khan or Shafqat Ali Khan?? I don't think so.

Mussarat is from Pakistan aur abhi Pakistan main jo haalat hai wahan to doosra music hi bajta hai subah shaam.
Mussarat ki taqdeer kharab thi ki woh Himesh ke gharane main tha Saregamapa 2007 main. Himesh if wanted can manage one or two songs for Mussarat. But Himesh forgets all after the show.
Raja is lucky on that count to be in Vishal Shekhar gharana. Vishal and Shekhar are very nice people and they kept their words and helped Raja by giving him big opportunities to get his career rolling.
Raja also worked hard and maintainted consistency in his singing as well as behaviour and now we all know where Raja stands after 2 years.

I simply love RFAK.
It is hard to say. Smaller producers may prefer someone who is not too pricey. But they may also pay too little.
But generally if they lived in Mumbai it would have better opportunities too.
I do not know if they feel happier living in their own country with their own relatives and friends too. It is a hard decision to move over to Mumbai where things are much more expensive.

@Raghu

Arre yaar jahan bhi rahe but I was seriously shocked to hear that he is running a cafe. I don't know what kind of person this Himesh Reshammiya is. How can any person be his fan...
I get very sentimental when I hear such things...waste of talent...gosh...

Well said.
And on top of that Mussarrat is a very humble and nice person who deserved much more than the sorry fate meted out to him.
I HATE Himesh.
Had he been in vishal shekhar's gharana, his life might have been different.
Anyway wish him the very best for the future.
I listen to this song bu him regularly and most religiously. FANTASTIC!

Yes he is definitely a great singer no doubt about that...the way himesh affectionately hugged him and said words of praise for him..it definitely presented a different picture altogether..anyways, lets hope for the best for this fantastic singer..

Mussarat is a very down to earth guy.
This is the best performance ever in any music reality show.
