Mohit getting his due on the show?

Mohit seems to be ignored on the show a lot.

Mika in particular seems to be very vocal against him. When all the judges gave similar marks in Mika Vs Shreya, he singled out Mohit and was very disrespectful to his fellow judge.

Himesh is same to all others but Mohit seems to get the worst of it from him.

None of Mohits singers get good marks and he just seems to be there to make up the number.

Does any one feel the same way?

Yes. Agree with you on all the points. I have raised similar questions and my thoughts in this forum regarding Mohit being treated as an outsider and his team singers not getting higher marks. Ameya was right in all his arguements with the judges. I'm glad he spoke out as to me Mohit is more of a gentleman and has respect for people.

Mohit is a talented and honest singer and judge. Mika, Himesh and even that non-entity Sharib tried to put him down. But Mohit did not retaliate in their words, because he has far too much dignity for that.

I found Shankar's comment quite condescending, too, when he said that '[I'm not sad that I lost] I'm just happy for Mohit - woh bechara aagaya na andar!' And even before the medley in the Shankar v Mohit episode, Shankar tried to appear magnanimous by asking the audience if he should 'help out' Mohit's team by letting them choose whether to go first or second. Firstly, Mohit hadn't asked for any favours. Secondly, Shankar needn't have asked the public and then told Mohit that 'this was all I could do' as if he had made a huge sacrifice by going second. Stop trying to appear magnanimous Shankar! You just sound patronising!

Mohit can be confident that his silence when challenged is highly respected by the viewers. We support him for not falling into the trap of dramebaazi that is laid in these reality shows. When will the less dignified judges (and a few contestants) realise that their obnoxious behaviour does not make them very popular with the audience?!
