If he can sing like this amidst the cacophony n slanging matches, imagine how great he'd be in a pleasant atmosphere.

MKMM is worth it only for the new find Rehman. Hope he doesnt become like the others after 1 or 2 years.

It was good but not very good. One must listen to the original sung by Ustad Gulam Ali Khan which is just out of the world.

in the capacity of the reality shows and this current show MKMM, this was a breath of fresh air. I liked it too

But if we talk about the capacity of the thumri itself, then its just ordinary effort/version bcoz this has been sung by classical singers from time to time and they took the song comepletely different level. I ask all members to listen from online resources available like youtube.

Apart from Bade Gulam ali's version, anoher one is to look out for Kaushiki Chakrabarty which is available on youtube.

I agree Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan Sahab is out the the worl...and to have that kind of presicion in singing a classical piece is very applaudable..but in comparison to what we have heard on MKMM, rehman did bring a breath of fresh air for singing such a beautiful piece and thanks to Shreya fo rletting him sing that piece...why don't shows have such renditions...

I wouldnt dream of comparing classical maestros to even judges, forget contestants or rookies.

c'mon we should be more encouraging - how can anyone sing with all the fighting n shouting going on on MKMM.

okie, chalo...let us be encouraging. I would love HR to take the lead role as a singer for a "Classical Medley", the next time around.😆

Uffff, he murdered the medley in Karan-SRK episode. I am surprised how his team won. Gajji should have not telecast that medley.
