Gahh the first song I thought of for this theme, you beat me to it. I love this song — the lyrics are so incredibly beautiful. And this movie Beaches- such a good watch. A story of female friendship that is somehow still a rarity in cinema.

It might have appeared to go unnoticed

But I've got it all here in my heart

I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it

I would be nothing without you

Did you ever know that you're my hero?

You're everything I wish I could be

I could fly higher than an eagle

For you are the wind beneath my wings

And Hawa hawa yes.. what an ear worm this used to be back in the day! It would play at all events: Ganpati, weddings, parties everywhere!
