The song is Teardrop

The vocalist is Elizabeth Fraser, former lead singer of Cocteau Twins (which is a great band too!). This time she's part of Massive Attack. I have not heard too much by this group, but this piece is a masterpiece. The lyrics. It gives me chills. Beautiful. Heart-breaking. But beautiful. Hard to believe this came out of 1998.

I have to post the lyrics too because they're stunningly haunting

Love, love is a verb

Love is a doing word

Fearless on my breath

Gentle impulsion

Shakes me, makes me lighter

Fearless on my breath

Teardrop on the fire

Fearless on my breath

Night, night of matter

Black flowers blossom

Fearless on my breath

Black flowers blossom

Fearless on my breath

Teardrop on the fire

Fearless on my

Water is my eye

Most faithful mirror

Fearless on my breath

Teardrop on the fire

Of a confession

Fearless on my breath

Most faithful mirror

Fearless on my breath

Teardrop on the fire

Fearless on my breath

You're stumbling in the dark

You're stumbling in the dark

Another classical hit. That became so popular that they actually made an English version as well. Here are both … the OG and The English version

The English one isn’t a literal translation of OG one. The original version is about dreams- The 99 balloons represent the many dreams each person had. At the end of the song, she just wants to prove that the German people did have dreams by finding just one balloon.

Ending : Nabe Bugyo (Hotpot Boss/Commander) by Wednesday Campanella

It fits so perfectly with the Harvest Festival arc of this season -

The Devil's cooking recipe is revealed for the first time

The supply of ingredients are a big hurdle In the dark, in the dark, in the dark, in the dark

Hot pot in the dark is lawful

To the one who says "I can't eat it"

Go home right now!

Haha I'm just kidding

Heat it up in the microwave (oven) When it becomes soft, throw it into the hot

pot Then just let it simmer slowly

For three days and three nights, and it's done!

Not yet, is it undercooked?

Let's have a taste

it's done?

Hot pot in the dark

bubbling, simmering, it's hot!

Neha, do you think Anime should be in World Music? Since it's in Japanese and I've marked that down as other languages? As opposed to this thread which is for mostly English stuff? Just asking cos I don't know

This one. Now this song is an experience. MUST LISTEN WITH HEADPHONES ONLY

Don’t worry. It’s not about nature of lyrics. More about the experience of the 8d surround effect. Genre doesn’t matter. For this experience is surreal

Ahh lucky you, you went to Salzburg? What an experience that must have been!

You know I love a lot of composers and a lot of them have genius pieces even, but Mozart to me stands above the rest.

yes Salzburg :). Besides Mozart. It’s an amazing town. For eg. A castle there had a king that liked to play pranks. So he has these seats where he made people sit and it sort splashed water from under the seat that made it look like the subjects wet their pants 🤣🤣.

Definitely a treat :).

Mozart is awesome. But this piece from Bethoven. Amongst many others…
