My favorite music directors are...R.D.Burman, A.R.Rahman, and Himesh Reshammya.

Why I like them?First off all their music touches my heart, their unique styles....and I can find a song to express my any type of feelings from their compositions.

And your second question....well there may be many reasons...the number of compositions have been increased, so less time for musicians to work on their compostions.

Also the taste of new generation has been changed, they are accepting item songs and like that for instant masti, to have a dance in the discos..so that they can have a break from their daily hectic schedule.So demand of soft melodious songs is decreasing...But only this type of songs can have lasting impressions. Musicians have to payback their producers,so they are interested in making songs for instant masti.

I have read in one interview of one of my fav Music Composer, he composes two type of music..one to meet his audience demand and to pay back the producer..and the second type to satisfy his own creative mind..he gave example of the type of songs too...and surprisingly..the first type of his songs are in the upper position in the chart than the second type.Altough I personnaly feel that the second type if listen carefully is far more better and can have lasting impressions.....now see what happening a truely talleneted musician is being praised for wrong songs (lower quality songs than he can compose)while his precious compositions are neglected.

There may be other reasons, or may be these are not the actual reasons.I have wrote what i felt with my very little sence of music and its only and only my personal opinion.
