It's been two months since Debojit walked away victorious at Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge. But very little has been heard about him, prompting people to cast specalation on his whereabouts.

"It was examination time for kids across the country, so I wasn't doing too many concerts and stage performances," says Debojit. "But now I leave for Assam on April 22 for a free-for-all concert. It's a promise I made to my people, and I'm sticking to it. After that on April 28 I leave for concerts in Dallas. Vinit and Himani Kapoor will probably accompany me there. Besides there is an album for Zee with music by Biddu and I intend to do an album with Ismailji too."

Says a Sa Re Ga Ma Pa source, "Once the results of Sa Re Ga... were announced, Vinit started planning his career. Debojit allows his wife to make all his decisions. She rules his life."

But Debojit brushes away these allegations. "My wife has always been my inspiration and pillar of strength. Whatever I'm today is because of her and my guru Ismailji. My biggest joy now is that she doesn't need to work any longer to support both of us."
