Yes that exactly summed up the episode for me.. it missed the usual smart crisp story-telling this show has projected.. 2 excessive projections marred the integrity for me..

1. Jimmy and his projected ego.. ok I get that he is serious about what he does etc.. but why put on that act.. it did not look natural.. or may be the actor just couldn't bring it out right.. besides the timing of it all makes it worse.. he ate up more than 10 mins.. of a crucial juncture in the show wonder why his track couldnt be started a week later.. in summary.. nirali and jimmy scene very mundane.. only cheeky line was the waiting 25 mins wont change my name😆.. n jimmy intro scene.. yawn.. seen it in gazillion movies.. pass the popcorn..

2. IMV's neurotic scheming.. Now I think the vendetta is excessive.. or at least his schemes for the current one is.. what point is he trying to prove.. I just can't get this.. through all of this.. I thought he wanted to break Manhar and Devkis strong but opposing ideologies and get them to do what he wanted.. Hence I never really thought he was serious about proving them guilty.. I thought he would rest at the initial loss of face bit.. and enforce his views like he did.. but now he is taking it wayyy too far.. even if I understand that Devki is an outsider who comes in his way of destroying BB industries forever.. but Manhar.. isn't it taking it too far for him.. his own brother.. just coz he left the house.. and thereafter made a decision in favor of Devki.. goshhh.. being ruthless is one thing.. but completely irresponsible is something else..

3. Complacency.. Devki was shown extremely complacent and trusting other's efforts.. not making her own to scratch beneath the surface.. heck even the 3 day deadline did not show an apt response from her end.. Given Vaibhav is doing all he can.. but this is her battle.. she has to be more involved than all's gonna be ok.. Manhar for once did not look convinced.. thankfully

Sid-Rajvi bits in the middle were rather cute.. liking the progression there.. doesn't come in way of the story so much.. as for the precap.. hopefully praveen kaka comes to some use after all.. other than his jokes.. 😆

would love to hear different takes.. esp if I am overreacting but today's episode was disappointing.. coz for me the above mentioned facts somehow cant justify the end.. if someone sees it differently would love to read that POV

Absolutely agree with you here. They should have introduced this track a little later. And he did eat up a whole 10 minutes. 😆 I didn't want that at this point. With the Sid-Rajvi track also shown, I guess they are giving a lot of screen space to everything. But I'd have preferred had they restricted to those two. Not opening this whole new chapter of a Jockey. And I find Nirali a little bit too hyper 😛 It's good to be bubbly, but not to the point that it looks a little put up. Am I right?

I know, why did he do all this then? Did he marry Vaibhav to Devki, only to send her to jail, and make his son live a lonely life serving his business always? Won't this also tarnish the image of Vaibhav industries? I seriously don't get him here. As for Manhar, I suppose he is on his RED list after that decision of giving the contract to Devki. You see, that was like his first loss in life. So maybe that was the ultimate thing for Manhar's good days 😔 IMV is mostly fine with his relationships, as long as they don't harm him in business. But he never really cares about anyone.🤔

Hmm, Even she has gone the docile bahu way, and only talking.And what was with that, dialogue, where she said, Vaibhavji has found the bank manager.😲 I thought they were in the process of catching him. Even I'm waiting for some serious actions from her side.😳

Btw, I do like her in salwar suits.😳 Her saris also suit her, but still.

Hmm. Sid-Rajvi bits are cute, but then they should have cut the jockey parts. I suppose they are waiting for Monday, to unfold some drama. But yes, the story just dragged this week.🥱

And yea, it's funny how Praveen kaka still doesn't know the name of the bank manager.

But maybe he's a tubelight.😛 Hopefully it doesn't light in front of IMV, but rather Vaibhav/Devki.

And you are not over reacting, but when a show has been at a good pace all along, then one would expect the same. 😊

One more thing. I found Jyotsna , to be somewhat irritating yesterday. Fine, her husband was in jail, but what was with that expression. It's like, she just cannot look at the bright side of anything. Maybe she has lost all hope in life. Correct me if I'm wrong.😊

i was disappointed with yesterday episode.

was surprised d not taking any tension, she is not doing anything , saara kaam vaibhav pe daal diya and v is a darling 👏but he was just there 4 2 mins

i was thinking there will be more of him

i dont know what imv thinks or what he plans , he is becoming more and more complex to understand

jimmy took most of the time, right now it was not necessary to introduce him, let the case matter be solved first

, and manhar scene was boring acc2 me

i only like to watch imv family , manhar family does not interest me much🥱

for the first time i felt mb dragged -lets hope its does not become a habit on their part

@Sam: tell me about it.. not wanting to sound rude.. but who is this dude.. the jockey actor.. if they were in such rush to introduce him.. atleast train the actor better.. to look convincing.. sid and vaibhav may not be greek gods or carry charismatic auras like IMV.. but they carry the young entrepreneur label rather well.. impressive body language.. but this jockey dude's characterization to start with was rather thakela.. tried and tested.. and the actor did not have the edge in being convincing either.. And I completely concur on Nirali.. the old nirali had something endearing about her.. the new one looks forced from day1.. even her friendship thing with devki looks alienating to me..

As for IMV.. I could still try to get myself to look at it from his pov but this epi I just couldnt.. I mean it was contradictory.. no matter what he wants to see his baa bapuji peaceful and happy.. but here he is jeopardizing even that.. he played low involving his dad's asset and name in the deal and now not even a minute sense of regret on seeing his old father toil.. too much to ask is it.. if he couldn't be a good son at least be a responsible father.. what is he trying to prove to Vaibhav.. you get to keep the girl till she fits my bill.. otherwise.. I get you a new one is it.. lameee...

with devki I dont mean for her to run pillar to post right now.. but atleast sit and study.. think on yer case.. don't loiter around going to meet manhar kaka and give him free assurance. .when you yourself are not sure of it.. what's with that.. her body language suggested the date was 2 months later not 2 days.. not a speck of any urgency.. I see last min drama.. phew.. only a day before I was harping about subtley.. spoke too soon i guess..

yup Jyotsna was rather whiny.. this old man has come all the way to meet you.. and even if he got sweets for his accomplishment it may be to cheer and encourage you all.. don't treat life like its over.. even sonal had sense to stop her rant on their future.. the man just got home from jail.. cut him some slack.. stop being a depressed housewife😆

Anmol saada Vaibhav to hero banne chala.. only if his dad could give him the lil limelight here..😆 chale aye tangdi adaney.. adat se majboor.. 😆 I am begining to like the Virani bros a lot these days.. Vaibhav to i always did .. Sid also is impressing me.. with his insights.. liked how he said whats expect of IMV but next min in all seriousness acknowledged no one can really understand that man.. as if he isnt sure what his dad is really capable of.. now that's a smart boy

the thing with IMV till now.. I at least saw an agenda. .even with his masterstrokes.. there was a motive.. my problem now is.. I dont see the motive anymore.. neither do I see the agenda.. now I feel its not even abt BB anymore.. its just abt his stubbornness.. to overpower the course of everyone's lives.. to control nature.. abt time.. he learns a few tricks from nature.. at how unpredictable it can get..

the whole episode was boring. that jimmy took away as u said 10 minutes. he is quite boring and not attractive at all. missed v in the show 2day and also did was only shown for like 2 minutes with nirali.

Yea, even I don't get what was the need to rush with the jockey track. And frankly speaking, I don't find the need either. There are more interesting aspects to explore. They have even shown us Viraj following Sid-Rajvi. See, they open soo many tracks.

Last minute drama is for sure. Maybe Devki & Manhar would be saved just before the judge proclaims them guilty 😆 Probably Praveen kaka along with Vaibhav should play a role.

I don't want IMV's true face to come to the fore so soon, but still want them to get saved. To be honest, I don't get what his motives are, still 😲. I want to see some logic behind his actions.

Even Devki should at least try and be with Vaibhav instead of raising false hopes for Manhar and his family. Does she think, that the judge will get a dream, that these 2 people are honest, and guilt free? 🥱 Seriously!, I too expected better.

Excellent analysis sonali , Kudos .

I agree with ALL your points . . 1] Devki ...She is doing NOTHING . This serial gives Devki everything on a silver platter . Her success was given to her EASY . Vaibhav arranged the finances , Manhar gave her the contract . Today , Vaibhav fights her battle by staying behind the scenes .All she does is big big DIALOGUES ...I will do this and I will do THAT and I will first catch Bank Manager and I will do HYAAV and I will do TYAAV . But actually ...NOTHING . . 2] Master : From where suddenly he got Fixed deposits to arrange so much bail money when he cud not afford his sons to sit in a JHOOLA in the village fair is a mystery . Chalo , I accept EVEN that . Master was , like Scrooge , putting pennies in a bank for future and refusing his two boys jhoola rides by teaching them to be thrifty in the process . But The officer who suspended Manhar turning out to be Maangrol school student was too much . The whole of Mumbai seems to be infested with students from Maangrol who studied under the Master and are dying to do favours for that dear old noble man . TOO much of a coincidence . And btw , how can that officer suddenly write suspension letter and give MASTER . There is something called procedure . And the letter will be given to MANHAR , not an old man who walks in saying Hey Im his daddy . Now suspend my son . . 3] IMV : My favorite . [ He makes show interesting and ANYONE who does that is my favorite .} IMV , i thought , had two goals in life . Wanting Devki in Vaibhav group so her intelligence and business acumen would benefit Vaibhav group . Hence he bailed her out . He is not interested in destroying her ...he is interested in USING her to benefit HIS business . So he got that . When he gave her the ultimatums ...he had her exactly where he wanted her . Then why wud he be interested in seeing her proven guilty ...coz that wud mean a jail sentence . Wait , let me get this straight . He is willing to accept her after some months in jail in VAIBHAV GROUP ? uh...Ok , but this is not IMV . . Also , IMV may be super pissed with Manhar's Ethics that plonked themselves in the way of him losing contractt worth billions , but IMV was shown to love his parents deeply . I had expected him to pull Manhar out after rattling him a little and throwing his ethics on his face and making him feel pretty low ...but ultimately , getting him out for Baa's sake . CVs play with his characterization when they show him too inhuman . Also , if he KILLS the bank manager , CVs go too far .

4] Jimmy : TOO full of himself . His bombastic dialogues left me unimpressed . His ego is AS crude as IMV's ...perhaps even greater as IMV 's ego is an accumalation of years and years of success and hard work . The young IMV was a rather sweet guy . We see him in memory scenes . We like him . But Jimmy in his youth is insufferable . His introduction was insufferable and filmy . What IS he so proud about , riding horses ? 😆😆😆 Oh wait a minute ...Riding horses FASTER than anyone else ? He IS a boy isn't he , he needs to grow up !

5] Nirali : Stunning in looks , dresses appropriately for her role , [ Devki dresses unecessarily like an Amma although she is of Nirali's age] ...but comes across as ...pardon me ...forward and man mad . So interested in that Jimmy without even knowing him , DYING to go out and talk to him . She is gonna RUN after Mr Snooty and bolster his inufferable ego even more isn't she .

6] Viraj : A very consistent character in the show . He has been insufferable from the start .His only job is to light fires under everyone's butts as if he an evil twin of Narad , by using someone else's newspaper . Currently , besides lighting fires , he halts with the lighted match to ogle a married woman who was his ex flame .

7] Jyotsna : Actually she is consistent too . She is focussed on Manhar alone . Worried about House expenses . Knows her elder Brother in law can be TERRIBLE and that gives her a knot in her plump tummy . My anger towards Jyotsna has abated as her character has NOT lost its consistency .

8] Sonal : Consistent . Idealistic , but not a fool . Knows Viraj for what h REALLY is and gets my respect .

9] Baa : Currently a sitting on the fence Sri Krishna . Disappointed me when she , as a Mommy , didn't storm in Ishvar's bedroom to twist his ear and ask WHy the hell he came home alone , leaving his little bro behind in the cold { jail cell } . I had LIKED it when she had stormed in his office and shown the world that to the world he was IMV but to her he was her Ishvar whom she cud haul over the coals as a Mommy when he behaved like a bad boy .

If Mukti Bandhan goes FILMY , it will LOSE its uniqueness and become ANY other serial . They shud show IMV does many evil things but stops at MURDER and they shud sincerely stop giving Devki everything on a platter .

@Kool Sadhu: Altho I havent seen todays epi.. I read Sam's take on it.. and m glad.. coz finally Devki admitted what you have been harping about.. and hopefully this realization won't stop at just that.. hopefully she would do something about it..

at yer Bapuji reference.. forgive me.. I have a bad memory.. when was this epic jhula context presented😆 really how much does a rollercoaster ride in a village like mangrol cost.. and whats the big ideology on not spending tht meagre penny.. maybe m too urbane to grasp that.. but the FD bit chalo I can understand that maybe the bail money wasn't outside his FD budget.. LOL.. and this mangrol has to be some paris.. or even better newyork for all entrepreneurs to have some connection to.. and Masterji is a celebrity eh.. wow.. dint figure that before..

IMV- my concerns are exactly the same.. I am befuddled.. I don't see why he is being stupid here.. doing something that couldn't benefit him all it can do is gloat his already big ego..

Jimmy.. I said all I had to.. not worth my time right now..

Nirali.. somehow the change of actor has brought about character regression.. the obsession for clothes and men is a newer thing.. the utter brainlessness to add to it.. I bet she doesn't get half of IMVs tricks he divulges to her.. what a waste..

Me too finding Viraj rather consistent.. his convictions are strong.. and till now we have seen him resort to yellow journalism only with IMV or his family.. there's no telling.. he may be a responsible able journo in reality.. only subjective in terms of his personal vengeance..

Sonal is coming to smarter than I once gave her credit for.. when she first left home with her big ideologies.. I thought they were more a belief than a way of life.. but now she is coming across stronger to me..

Baa.. LOL.. the baa bapuji thing works ying yang I think.. only either of them steal the show at a time.. this was Bapuji's time under the arc lights.. so Baa is happy with her gajra.. And before she would suspect IMV at the drop of a hat.. now she isn't totally.. what's with that..

hoping today is good.. Sam got me excited.. esp with Vaibhav.. really liking that character.. so practical and no-nonsense.. love such men or women..
