Mili I think that the power of one here would not reach the cut of the magical numbers...I was rather disappointed with the first meeting of the trio on the dusty road.. It was good but somehow lacked a punch hence going by that experience for me the weight has to be divided between the leads for stabillity of the series. U know another disconnect is the non happening of kidnapping because that was what generated a lot of interest but the story was is no where near it... Viewers must have felt disappointed because expectations didnot match the reality which unfolded in front of them.@sunshine.
Please excuse my digression but do you think that Sid's character hold the keys to TRP. This is the first time I am watching MS onscreen and he seems to me just like any other actor. IMO, there is a dichotomy between IF and real McCoys or the aunty ji viewers who make up the TRPs.There is no great shakes romance there but high drama involving emotional atyachaar, parivaar ke khushi ke liye kuchh bhi karoongi type of leads and a vamp from hell. Look at its TRP.I still feel that G2 alliance could have seen a rise in numbers. It is a total cliche based formula but unholy alliances works for Indian tellies. Somehow most of the audiences want the female lead to fight against all odds and come up as a victor.I know it is horribly abused tactics but love blossoming between two unmatched individuals still gather eyeballs.PS: Gauri will not go missing (that was just an advertising gimmick) but soon we may have Khamoshiyaan going missing.
