I came to office specially on Sunday; just to reply to all your wishes ......
Usually my Bro works for 2-3 hours on Sunday mornings and wild horses wont drag me to office on a sunday !!!!! 😆😆
But this time I was ready in record time to go with him ........
He was surprised, but fortunately he didn't probe !!!! 😆😆
So I spent 3 hours learning to post images ( with help from Arwen & Sami ) ......
and managed to put up some pictures ....
as a token of gratitude to all my dear friends ....
For making this such a special day .......
As for my Birthday celebration ......
My Mom prepared a special feast for me .....
With all my fav dishes .....
Mom & Dad gave me a salwar suit with matching jewllery ...
My Jiju & Sis called and wished me .... Sis has a surprise gift and she wont tell me what it is ..... I'll have to wait till she comes over ....... My Jiju said...... "The best gift you could give that girl is take her on a holiday ...... away from that 'dictator' (read big bro) ...... 😆. He enjoys taking these potshots at my Bro ...... And my Bro has to grin and bear it ..........
My Bro had asked me what I wanted ....
And I said "I want an internet connection at home".....
He gave me a queer look and nodded, ( he's pretty suspicious of my online activity these days ) ....
So on Sunday, he presented me with a "Filled-with-love" Coffee mug .... and promised to get me internet at home soon .....
I was fairly dancing with joy ....
In the evening we all went out to a fancy resturant for dinner ....... and the talk veered to my marriage ....
Dad was saying this may be your last celebration with us ...... with Mum nodding and smiling .....
But my dear Bro said "No, I want her to work with me for another year at least ..... she's too naive and needs to get more worldy-wise & independent " .......
(Brother seriously believes girls should work for a couple of years before geting married ..... that way they are exposed to the real world, they can learn to take decisions and that it would teach them to be independent )
I was like "Yipee !!!!
Then my Mom asked him, "When are you planning to get married then?"
As usual when this topic comes up, he became tight lipped and said "I'll let you know" ....
And that was that .........😆
Then we started talking about our childhood, then Mom & Dad reminiscing about their early days .....
It was a real "Down memory lane" ...... for all of us ......
I doubt if anyone of us realised what we were eating ....... we talked so much about old times, only my sis was missing .......
So all in all I had a wonderful Birthday this year ..........
Both in the real and virtual worlds !!!!!!!! 👍🏼
