You're right Dew ....... Me too sat thru JJKN .... for a long time ...... post Jassi-makeover and watched the show get into a rut ..... I'm still bewildered how the creatives managed to dunk that show ........

And if you remember, that time Sony Tv had conducted a poll.. where they had asked Junta whom they wanted Jassi to marry..If i remember correctly, Purab won by a HUUUUGE margin.. it was something like 76% junta voted in his favor ( I could be wrong abt the exact figure, but he won big time)

After which the producers did a complete volte face. When they found out that the poll results went against their story line, they made Samir Soni leave the serial. VERY ABRUPTLY. With some kind of a lame apology written by Purab to Jassi.

THAT totally killed his character..and I stopped watching the show. Even Samir Soni said in a later interview that they just chopped his character away, after building it up so well. It only deteriorated after this. The worst being, Jassi's overhyped marriage (post her makeover) with Armaan never happening. This serial was a case study in how a superb show can come crashing down if not handled well.

Phew... I know you all are big time Armaan lovers here !!! 😉

Yes Vasu, It confuses me too. I watched that show in the beginning but gave up when the story became lopsided. So I too have nothing to add. 😕
