Written update for 25th Dec 09

This is the first time I am writing an update, It is because I like this play a lot and find that no one write any update or anything else, I hope others become motivated to do the same and make the forum active. Do give your feedback

Update

Atharva's sister is talking to her mausi and asking her who is prettier, she or Bela, the mausi says you of course. She gets very happy and runs to her mother and tells her this, her mother tells her to go and freshen up. Then the mother tells the mausi that she should not say such lie to her daughter.

Then atharva comes and the mother says that go an bring bela back from mayika as her mudikhai rasam has been kept for the next day. In Bela's home her uncle comes and says bela can't be found I am going to look for her. Tejas says he will also go but Rajbela stops him, then Atharva comes as says where is Bela, he gets angry that she is not there and threatens that nothing should happen to her or he will not let them get away with it.

Then they show bela running on a road, remembering what Birju said and she gets stopped by a strange woman with her face covered in a ghunghat, she holds her hand and tells Bela not to go there or he will ruin you (something like that). Bela struggles and frees her hands and runs and bumps into her husband, she is shaken and crying and he hugs her.

Then they show Tejas saying he is leaving the house because of all that has happened, and how they treated bela' in short she was right and their treatment is wrong, his mom and Mamchand plead with him to stop but he doesn't. Rajbela falls crying on the ground cursing bela, saying you have taken my husband away from me and now my son, you will have to pay for it.

Bela is sitting on her bed when Atharva comes, he tells her that he understands her sorrow because going to the maika is a pleasure for other girls not her, then he sees a scratch on her hand and asks her what it is, she remembers the encounter with the strange woman and tells him, he tells her to forget it and not worry. And informs her that her mudikhai rasam is kept and he hopes that she will act like a bahu of the house should (something like that)

Then they show woman gathering in a hall for the rasam and the strange woman with face covered with a ghunghat coming and sitting and a weird looking man moving around like a servant arranging things there. Then Rajbela comes and says that how can mudikhai be complete without any maika wala, and says to Atharva's mother that I have forgotten our long enemity and have come to take part in this, the mother welcomes her and tells her to do the mudikhai,

Rajbela comes and gives a gift to bela and whispers that I can never give you good wishes, I will watch your ruin. Then other woman comes and say wishes and advices to her. Then the strange woman also comes and whispers "I will tell you the reality, Atharva has'." Then Rajbela says, wait you are looking at our bahu but you are not showing your face, then the woman tries to leave but rajbela stops her and says where are you running away, you have to show your face today and starts to lift her ghunghat when the woman holds her hand, all through this scene they show the face of the weird man who was hanging around.

Precap: Bela is in the kitchen making something, the weird man is also there, she wants to get a jar when the man signals to her that he will get it and he holds it in front of him when bela holds it to take, he grips her hands and gives a wicked smile, Bela is shocked.
